Exam Structure
NMIMS-CET Exam structure: (For Engineering & Pharmacy)
Exam is based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology of 10+2 curriculum.
Pharmacy admission test is based on PCM / PCB combination as selected at the time of online registration form.
NMIMS-CET Exam will comprise of 5 major sections as follows, No Negative marks:

Registration Process

Visit www.nmims.edu Based on eligibility criteria SELECT the Test category (NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMSCET / NMIMS-LAT / NMIMS-MST) / School / Program and campus preferences. The registration fees is based on the number of Schools selected for each test category and the total retakes. After the successful registration and payment, the candidate will get options to schedule the exams by choosing the test date/s and test center.
For registration click on “Apply Now” and create an account Candidate can select multiple test category / multiple schools and multiple program preferences. Only paid candidates will be allowed to schedule the exam. Test dates / Test center availability will be subject to Test center capacity.
Candidate can choose the programwise form and complete the registration. Candidate can select multiple attempts / retake/s for each of the category. Candidate can choose 1 main and 2 retakes for each of the examination category. In all, a candidate will be given chance to appear total 3 times of whichever exam he/she wishes to appear. It will be available to the candidate basis on first come first serve.
    Candidate should not register multiple times for the same exam category else it will lead to blocking the candidate from admission. Candidate has to schedule his / her examination.
  • RETAKE/S: Candidate can attempt maximum 2 RETAKES in any selected category i.e. (1st main test plus 2 retakes). The highest marks among the total attempts will be considered for respective school merit process.
  • Once the main exam delivery is done, candidate cannot add new school in the same category for retake, but he / she can add new category of test.
  • Candidate is recommended to schedule exam/s slot at the earliest to avoid last minute disappointment to get a convenient / date preferred optimal slot. There will be a chance, not to get the preferred / optimal slot. NMIMS Management will not be responsible for such arrangements.
  • Strictly NO Rescheduling or cancellation is allowed.
Selection Process
  • Merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the candidate in NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMSCET / NMIMS-MST / NMIMS–LAT exam.
  • The decision regarding the cut-off of the merit list will solely lie with SVKM’s NMIMS.
    Note:
    - Candidate will not be considered for merit list if they fail to update the correct information in the online registration form.
    - It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to ensure that correct marks are entered.
    - At any given point of time, if it is found that the information given by candidate i.e 12th or equivalent exam is incorrect, the candidate admission will be cancelled and fees will be refunded as per prescribed refund rules.
  • For Engineering: Candidates will be called for Counselling as per their merit. In the counseling session, candidates will be given admission to various specialization as per their merit, choice and availability of specialization as per eligibility criteria.
