Date of 1st Physical Counselling: 14.07.2025
It is advised to read the information brochure available on the website (www.igu.ac.in) carefully and thoroughly before appearing in the admission counselling process.

Proper care has been taken in the preparation of the merit list. However, in case of any inadvertent error or discrepancy found, candidates may contact the Office of the Department of Economics on or before 14.07.2025, up to 10:00 AM.

If at any stage it is found that the candidate has supplied incomplete and/ or false and/or incorrect information in the online admission form submitted, including marks in the qualifying examination or any discrepancy regarding eligibility, his or her admission will be cancelled, and the candidate will be responsible for the same.

The rules and guidelines related to admission processing fees will be followed in letter and spirit.

Important Instructions:

The merit list is provisional, and 1st Physical Counselling will be held on 14.07.2025.

The candidate has to report to Room No. 47, Department of Economics, 2nd floor, Rao Tula Ram Block (old building) on 14.07.2025 up to 10:00 AM.

Merit list is prepared purely on the basis of marks obtained in undergraduate examination/qualifying examination and marks of 5 marks of NSS merit certificate only.

The candidates have to appear before the admission committee with all original
documents/certificates.

Those candidates who have not submitted the following documents to the Department of Economics are directed to bring one set of self-attested photocopies, enclosed with two passport-size
photographs, at the time of counselling:

Application Form (submitted at the time of online registration) and registration fee receipt.

10th certificate/marksheet (along with one set of self-attested photocopies)
-
12th certificate/marksheet (along with one set of self-attested photocopies)
-
Undergraduate/ DMC of the qualifying examination

The latest original character certificate from the last attended institution or competent office in case of a gap during studies.

Original certificate of reserved category and other related certificates, if applicable, as mentioned in the prospectus

Income certificate, if required (latest).

Original certificates of claims made by the candidates, i.e. NSS merit certificate, etc.
