The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) admit cards have been released by the All India Council for Technical Education on its official website, the link for which is http://aicte-gpat.in/

The GPAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

This year, the examination is scheduled to be held on January 28, 2017.



Steps to download the admit cards:

  • Log on to the official website
  • Click on the 'Existing user' on the homepage
  • Login with your Registered Email ID and Password
  • Click to Submit
  • Admit cards will be displayed

Note: The admit card will contain the photo, name and signature of the candidate, GPAT Roll number, test date, time, reporting time at the venue, venue name, venue address and brief instructions for the candidate.

Also, the admit cards will be sent to the email address on the candidate.





Paper pattern:

  • It is a computer-based online examination
  • A candidate will have to take the test on a pre-assigned computer
  • There will be 125 questions in total
  • The total duration of test is 180 minutes
  • For each wrong answer, 1 mark shall be deducted.

Exam schedule:

Test will begin at 2:30 pm.

Candidates are required to arrive at the test centre on or before 1 pm for security checks, identity verification, and check-in.

About GPAT:

GRADUATE PHARMACY APTITUDE TEST (GPAT) is a national level entrance exam conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. This test facilitates institutions to select suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Master’s (M.Pharm) program. The GPAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session.The GPAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions / University Departments / Constituent Colleges / Affiliated Colleges. A few scholarships and other financial assistance in the field of Pharmacy are also given on the basis of the GPAT score. The GPAT 2017 will be conducted on 28th January, 2017. 29th January 2017 is a reserved day.
