The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has made changes to the registration schedule for JEE Advanced 2024. Originally planned to begin on April 21, the application process will now kick off on April 27. Additionally, the deadline for submitting applications has been pushed back to May 7, while registered candidates now have until May 10 to complete their fee payments.
Eligibility for registration on jeeadv.ac.in is reserved for candidates ranking within the top 2.5 lakh and who successfully pass the JEE Main 2024. Applicants must have a birthdate on or after October 1, 1999. However, candidates falling under the SC, ST, and PWD categories are eligible for a five-year age relaxation, thus requiring a birth date of October 1, 1994, or later.
JEE Advanced 2024 has been scheduled for May 26, with the examination divided into two sessions: Paper I will run from 9 am to 12 pm, followed by Paper II from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Admit cards will be available for download starting May 17.
Additionally, the online registration for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2024 is slated to open on June 9 and close on June 10, with the AAT exam scheduled for June 12 from 9 am to 12 pm. Results for the AAT will be disclosed on June 15, 2024. Simultaneously, the Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2024 process is expected to commence on June 10.
