The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have issued two Centralised Employment Notifications (CENs) for Indian Railways. RPF 01/2024 offers 452 Sub-Inspector (Executive) positions in Railway Protection Force and Railway Protection Special Force. RPF 02/2024 offers 4,208 Constable (Executive) positions in the same departments. The application process for RRB RPF Constable and SI recruitment 2024 starts on April 15th on respective RRBs' official websites.

The deadline to apply for both RPF SI and RPF Constable positions is May 14. The window for correcting application forms will be open from May 15 to 24, 2024.

Selection Process for RPF Recruitment 2024:

• Online Computer-Based Test (CBT): All applicants will take part in an online CBT.
• Shortlisting: Candidates will be selected based on CBT performance. The number of shortlisted candidates will be 10 times the vacancies in each category (Male / Female / Ex-Servicemen). Selection within each category will be based on merit.
• Physical Tests and Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (excluding Ex-Servicemen) will undergo:
  • Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
  • Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
  • Document Verification (DV)

Age Eligibility for RRB RPF SI and Constable Recruitment 2024:

Candidates applying for Constable (Executive) positions must be between 18 and 28 years old as of July 1, 2024. For SI vacancies, the age range is 20 to 28 years as of the specified cut-off date.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a one-time relaxation of 3 years beyond the prescribed age limit. Furthermore, additional upper age limit relaxation is applicable to candidates from reserved categories.

Qualification Required 2024:

Applicants for Constable positions must have completed at least Class 10 from a recognized board. For SI positions, a graduation degree from a recognized university is necessary.

Application Fee 2024:

The application fee for both positions is Rs 500 for all candidates, except for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities, or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates, who are charged Rs 250. The notification specifies that a partial fee refund will be issued after participating in the computer-based test (CBT).
