The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017 will begin from tomorrow and will conclude on February 12. The examination will consist of a single paper. The duration of the paper will be of three hours. It will carry 65 questions overall a maximum of 100 marks. The question paper will consist of both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type questions.

About GATE
The GATE exam is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board GATE, Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India.
