The AMPBA is a part-time programme delivered in a blended learning format with minimum disruptions to your work responsibilities. The programme starts with a Bootcamp Module with asynchronous content on Introduction to Python, R-programming, SQL and Linear Algebra, enabling participants from varying backgrounds to gain the pre-requisite knowledge before the Foundation Term.

Eligibility

Academic Qualification The applicant must have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Science, or equivalent qualification with exposure to mathematics and programming.
If candidates are planning to pursue the programme and does not come with the programming language experience, we would suggest starting learning programming languages like Python, Java, C, C++, R, etc.

Work Experience The applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience after graduation (excluding internships) as on the programme start date.

Selection Criteria

Admission Committee evaluates each applicant on several criteria to ensure that the participants selected for the programme are well-rounded individuals. Each component of the application and the interview is essential, and the selection of the participants for the programme will be made considering a combination of many factors, including:

Quality of relevant work experience such as taking significant responsibility.
Work experience in Analytics function and the commitment and passion for the function.
Evidence of professional success.
Likelihood of benefiting from the programme.
Business leadership potential, track-record, traits, attitude/mindset.
Motivation to participate in the programme.
Undergraduate degree performance.
Performance in the interview.
The criteria mentioned above are not in any specific order of importance.

Selection Process

All applicants are required to take the online admissions test conducted by ISB; Click here to view the sample test paper.
An applicant can request for exemption by submitting valid GMAT/GRE/CAT/NMAT scores along with the application. The decision to grant an exemption from the online test will be based on the decision of the admissions committee. In the event the waiver is not granted, the applicant will be required to appear for the online test. The interview may be conducted in person or teleconference.
Applicants shortlisted based on the admissions test result will be called for an online interview. The interview may be conducted in person, over a video conference, teleconference.
The shortlisting and interviews will be held on a rolling basis.
