Overview of the Programme

Duration: Five Years (Full Time).
Sanctioned Intake:
- B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) 180 Students
- B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) 300 Students
- B.Com. LL.B.(Hons.) 120 Students
Medium of Instruction: English.
Pattern of the Course: Semester Pattern with 2 Semesters Per Year: Total 10 Semesters.
Separate Merit Lists for B.A. LL. B (Hons.), B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) programme will be published.
At the time of SLAT and Institute Registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to indicate the programme to which they wish to apply. A candidate is free to choose ALL THREE or ANY ONE programme.

Admission Procedure

Admission Test: Please note that the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) 2026 will be conducted through 'CBT Mode'
Registration: Date for SLAT (Computer-Based Test): The SLAT will be conducted for the academic year 2026-2027 on December 20, 2025 (Saturday) and December 28, 2025 (Sunday).
Important Dates: Please note: A candidate can appear for SLAT on both dates December 20, 2025 (Saturday) and December 28, 2025 (Sunday) by selecting both the dates in the Application Form. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation. There will be no normalization.
Mandatory: It is mandatory to Register & Pay to both SLAT & SLS Pune. A candidate registered for SLAT and not registered for SLS, Pune, by paying the above-mentioned fees, will not be eligible for the next phase of the PI process at SLS, Pune.
Registration Form: Candidate must complete the SLS, Pune payment Rs. 1,000/- per program (i.e., B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / BB.A. LL.B. (Hons.) / B. Com. LL.B. (Hons.)) while filling the SLAT registration form.
Registration Fee: Candidate must pay Rs. 2,250/- as a SLAT Registration Fees

Eligibility

Graduate from any recognised University or Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes)

Important: It is the responsibility of the candidate to ascertain whether he/she possesses the requisite qualification(s)/ eligibility for admission. Having been admitted provisionally does not mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility for admission will be decided by Symbiosis International (Deemed University), subject to successful fulfilment of specified admission norms.

Admission Process

Step 1: Apply online at www.symlaw.ac.in
Step 2: Appear for the All India Admission Test (SLAT)
Step 3: Appear for Personal Interaction (Online PI)

Step 1	Apply Online	• It is mandatory to Register & Pay for both SLAT & SLS Pune. • A candidate registered only for SLAT and not for SLS, Pune, by paying the aforementioned fees will not be eligible for the next phase of PI at SLS, Pune.
Step 2:	SLAT 2026 Computer Based Test	• This comprises of multiple-choice questions to assess the General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Basic English and Basic Legal Reasoning. • After the declaration of the SLAT result, SLS Pune will publish the list of eligible candidates for the PI
Step 3	Online Personal Interaction	• Personal Interaction is intended to test the personal attributes, inclination towards law as a career, overall personality and communication skills, Extracurricular and Co-curricular activities, and elementary knowledge of the law of a candidate. • The candidate needs to book a slot for PI at SLS, Pune. The slot booking link for shortlisted candidates will be available on our website, www.symlaw.ac.in
Step 4	Verification of Educational Qualification & Eligibility Documents	• The candidates shortlisted for online PI should submit educational qualification documents as per the directions of SLS Pune/SIU. • If the candidate fails to submit any document at the time of the verification and for eligibility purposes, the claim for admission shall not be entertained.

Registration Fee

Registration Fee: Rs. 2,250/- for SLAT Plus Rs. 1,000/- each for every programme applied (For Example: if a candidate applies for BA LLB (Hons.) programme at SLS, Pune, and SLS, NOIDA then he/she will pay a total of Rs. 4,250/- {Rs. 2,250/- (SLAT) + Rs. 1,000/- (BA LLB (Hons.) at SLS, Pune), + Rs. 1,000/- (BA LLB at SLS, NOIDA)}

The entrance test registration fee for SLAT is 2250/-INR per test (Non- refundable and non-transferable). In addition to that, you are also expected to pay the programme registration fee of 1000 INR for each programme that you wish to apply for. (Non-refundable and non-transferable)

Payment Through Demand Draft:

Submit a Demand Draft (DD) from any Nationalized Bank in favour of "Symbiosis Test Secretariat" payable at Pune.
Choose the mode of Payment as 'DD Payment' in "Make Payment" Tab. Take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at:

The Symbiosis Test Secretariat (STS) will authenticate the details of the Demand Draft and will send you an email confirming the payment. Only after the realization of payment, would you be able to view your Admit Card.
Note: The DD should reach STS by 3:00 pm on 30 November 2025. If the DD reaches after this, it will not be considered and will be returned to the candidate.
