Register online for SEED at www.sspad.edu.in. Facility of payment of SEED fee and printing of Admit Card is available online. A student aspiring to pursue an undergraduate programme at Symbiosis needs to follow the steps mentioned below:
The paper will contain a mix of questions related to Visual Sensitivity and Judgement, Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities, Problem Solving, Basic knowledge of Logic of Science and Mathematics, Art, Craft and Culture, Design and Environment.

Step 1: Register online by paying Rs. 3,250/- (Rs. 2,250/- for SEED & Rs. 1,000/- for SSPAD)

Final selection would be based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task and Personal Interaction as well as on the basis of the information provided by the candidate in the application form and the chosen specialization.

SEED is a Design Aptitude Test and would have following topics. These are indicative topics and questions might also be drawn from similar and relevant topics.

Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities
Ability to read and see objects and information beyond obvious details, make connections, make comparisons, form opinions, draw meanings & conclusions. Analyze your observations, express your point of view and present in a systematic and structured manner.

Application of Basic knowledge of Science and Mathematics
Observing applications of basic principles of science and mathematics learned up to standard 10th in the day-to-day activities & objects and finding the interesting relevance.

Visualization
Understanding and visualization of simple and complex 2D & 3D geometric shapes, their manipulations and spatial relationships through representations in pictorial and geometric forms.

Creative and Problem Solving abilities
Ability to visualize and relate images around us. Ability to identify a problem and attempt to provide solutions.

Art, Craft, Culture, Design and Environment
General awareness of Art, Craft, Culture, Design and Environment in Indian as well as in Global context - Various topics and sub-topics, people, material, tools, techniques, issues & concerns, influences, period, and contemporary trends.

Please follow the below mentioned steps to Register Bachelor of Design [B.Des.] programme of Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune/B.Des. - Symbiosis School of Planning, Architecture and Design, Nagpur

• Your passport size photo in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif format (the file size should not be more than 150 kb)
• Your marks in 10th
• Your marks in 12th (Please choose "Appearing" in case you are yet to appear for the 12th exam this year)

• Click on Register.
• Read the Instructions carefully and then click on the 'I Agree' button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
• Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
• Click on "Save and Continue" to choose a password and the hint questions that will be asked if you forget your password. Then click on "Submit" to register. The screen will now display your registration ID.
• After successful registration, you will get an email containing your registration ID and password. On your completion click on "Save and Continue".
• Now the Application will redirect to Payment page.

Please upload a photo ID proof containing your latest photograph. This may be your 12th school/college ID card, driving license or passport . Please note that if you have not uploaded this document, you shall not be allowed to appear for SEED. No communication will be entertained in this regard.

Pay the SEED Test registration fee of INR 2,250/- per test (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) upto 30th November, 2025.

In addition to that, you are also expected to pay the non-refundable and non-transferable programme registration fee of INR 1,000/- (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) for each programme that you wish to apply for.
