  • Any omission/error should be brought to the notice of the respective Head of the Department immediately.
  • All admissions are provisional.
  • Candidates have to submit the following documents at the time of verification and admission (if selected):
    (a) Print-out of the submitted on-line application,
    (b) 2 copies of recent passport-size photograph,
    (c) Original and attested copies of marksheets & Admit Card/Certificate of Secondary level, Higher Secondary level Examinations and B.Sc. Examinations (Certificate, if available),
    (d) Original and attested copies of SC/ST/PD/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS Certificate from competent authority, if applicable, at the time of verification,
    (e) Family income certificate from competent authority will be required at the time of admission,
    (f) Candidate’s copy of the admit card,
    (g) Anti Ragging Undertaking by student and his/her Parent/Guardian (CLICK HERE).
  • Failure to appear at the verification/admission on the specified date and time will lead to rejection of candidature without further reference to the candidate.
  • Fees for Admission: Rs. 2,160/- for M.Sc. (Day) courses to be paid by cash/card/online.

  • It is being brought to the notice of all concerned that Ragging is not only a social evil but also a penal offence. Any student/s indulging in ragging of any student/s including freshers during admission/interview and/or subsequently at the hostel or in the class or in the corridors or anywhere inside and outside of the campus, shall be severely dealt with on pain of punishment ranging from loss of academic year / loss of hostel boardership to expulsion from the University. Reporting to the nearest Police Station may also be done in addition to the above punishment. The University is to follow all directives of the “UGC REGULATION ON CURBING THE MENACE OF RAGGING IN HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS, 2009 under the direction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.   • Moreover, selected students and his/her parent/guardian will be required to submit an Anti-Ragging Declaration.
  • If a student cancels his/her admission, he/she may apply for refund of the fees. The fees will be refunded as per the D.O no.-F.2-71/2022 (CPP-II) dated 03/7/2025) by UGC. Refund of fees may take some time.
  • Hostel accommodation is very limited. However, outstation candidates may apply to the Dean of Students for hostel accommodation. Interested candidates are advised to enclose the following documents along with the filled-in application form (Click here for Hostel Form) for Hostel Boardership to submit on the day of verification/admission:
    i) Attested copy of voter identity card (EPIC)/Residential certificate issued by Gazetted officer/ Employer.
    ii) Income certificate from the employer (with official seal) for the employed person. For others: for the purpose of determining the Annual Income of the parents/guardians of the student an officer of the State Govt. in the rank of B.D.O or above in the district/ their equivalent counterparts (Group-A Officer) elsewhere will be competent to issue Income Certificate to be issued to each of such students.
    iii) SC/ST/PWD/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS certificate, if applicable.
    iv) Copy of the Ration Card.
Candidates will be required to bring the following at the time of verification & admission:
  • A print out of the on-line application.
  • 2 (two) recent passport size photographs.
  • Admit card of admission test.
  • All original marksheets, certificates including SC/ST/PD/OBC-A/OBC-B/EWS certificates from competent authorities in the names of the candidates themselves, where applicable, are to be shown at the time of admission for verification.
  • The original madhyamik admit card/certificate (for age verification).
  • Self-attested copies of all mark-sheets, certificates, madhyamik admit card/certificate are to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • If the provisionally selected candidate has completed his/her graduation in 2024 or before: An affidavit that he/she is not registered in any other day-course anywhere/elsewhere (click here).
  • Parents/guardian's income certificate issued by the employer with office seal for the employed person and for others by a gazetted officer.
