programmes offered by institutes of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) have to appear for the common, mandatory Computer Based Test(s) (CBT). Since 2018, “SET – General” is known as Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and “SET – Engineering” as SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE). These are conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across various cities of India.

A candidate needs to register for SITEEE 2026 & also register for the institutes offering his/her choice of programmes by paying separate programmes registration fees. If shortlisted, he/she would then need to attend the further admission process conducted by each of these institutes individually.

All communication with candidates will be done through the official email address (info@set-test.org and no-reply@set-test.org only. Please ensure that this email address is whitelisted in your registered email. If you do not receive the registration/payment confirmation mail, within 24 hours, please check your spam/junk folder just in case these emails got delivered there instead of your inbox.

A candidate can complete the SITEEE as well as programme/s registration and payment on the same portal (set-test.org).

**Depending on any unavoidable circumstances, the schedules as well as the nature/structure of the test can change, and all tests can be conducted entirely online or entirely offline or in a combination of both modes at the discretion of SIU.

SITEEE Registration

SITEEE 2026 will be conducted on two different dates. Please note these dates carefully:

A candidate can appear for upto two tests for SITEEE 2026. If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation. There will be no normalization. A rigorous process that has been statistically tested will be administered to ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. The normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests. This will ensure the normalisation of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalised for the level of difficulty across all two tests. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.

The registration process is as follows:

Click on 'Register'.
Read all the Instructions carefully and then click on the 'Continue' button to accept the Terms and Conditions.
Fill in the details requested on the page displayed.
Click on 'Save & Continue'. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number and email id that you have entered.
Enter the 'OTP' and submit.
After successful registration, you will get an e-mail & SMS containing your SITEEE ID and password. Use this SITEEE ID for all communications regarding the SITEEE 2026 entrance test / admission procedure.
Pay the SITEEE entrance test registration fee of INR 2250 per test [government taxes would be additional as and when applicable] non-transferable and non-refundable as per the instructions mentioned on the Registration Portal.
In addition to that, you are also expected to pay the non-refundable and non-transferable programme registration fee of INR 1,000/- (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) for each programme that you wish to apply for.
Please note that payment of only the SITEEE entrance test registration fee will not make you eligible for shortlisting in any programme, regardless of your SITEEE score. Both fees must be paid as per the instructions provided on the registration portal. Failure to pay the programme registration fee will result in your application not being considered for that programme. No communication will be entertained in this regard.
If you have any queries, please log in to your SITEEE ID and click on "Raise A Query" and generate a ticket. Generating a ticket is essential to resolve your query.
The modes of payment for the programme(s) registration fee is same as that for SITEEE.
Candidate must declare and maintain a valid and unique email account and a mobile phone number throughout the admission process.
A candidate is required to fill in the correct information in the online registration form which corresponds to her/his credentials.
Register online on the website www.set-test.org (upto April 10, 2026 (Friday).
Note: No changes shall be permitted after the registration under any circumstances
A candidate can appear for SITEEE on both the dates May 02, 2026 (Saturday) and May 10, 2026 (Sunday). If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.
Please also note that if any information provided by a candidate is found to be incorrect, the University shall have right to cancel the candidature of that candidate.

Pay the SITEEE Test registration fee of INR 2,250/- per test (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) upto April 10, 2026 (Friday) as per the instructions mentioned on the website (www.set-test.org) for Payment of SITEEE Test registration fee.

In addition to that, you are also expected to pay the non-refundable and non-transferable programme registration fee of INR 1,000/- (government taxes would be additional as and when applicable) for each programme that you wish to apply for.

Note:
- Please note that the SITEEE 2026 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
- The duration of each test is of 60 minutes.

- There is no negative marking for wrong answers
- All sections are mandatory.
- Utmost care is taken to prepare an error free question paper. However, if an error is detected in the question paper, the Scrutiny Committee shall take an appropriate decision after the test, which shall be final.
- A candidate can appear for SITEEE on both the dates May 02, 2026 (Saturday) and May 10, 2026 (Sunday). If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.
