Notice regarding grievance of UG Semester-2 (Session- 2024-28) Examination 2025

Grievance Submission Instructions for Degree Colleges

Course: U.G. (Regular) 2nd Semester (2024-28)

It is important to note that grievances related to theory and practical exams must be submitted in the prescribed format as mentioned below:

  1. Theory Absent Grievances
    • a. If the theory exam result shows "Absent," students must provide the Answer Book number along with the result. Ensure to report the absence with the required details.
    • b. If there is an "Absent" status for the Answer Paper or if Answer Books were not available, a Memo must be submitted with a copy for the concerned department, along with the grievance details.
    • c. For showing the result discrepancies, grievances must be submitted online through the prescribed format. The grievance report must be filled out correctly and must be submitted with the necessary supporting documents.
  2. Practical Grievances
    • a. If the practical exam marks are not updated in the online mode, the student should report this via the Portal at PPU. The grievance must clearly mention the issue with the practical marks.
    • b. Students are required to submit the grievance for missing practical marks or if there was an issue with the result in the proper format.

Note: All grievances must be filed in the prescribed format through the official grievance handling portal to ensure proper follow-up.



  1. Grievances Regarding Online Marks for Practical Exams
    • a. If the practical exam marks have not been updated, the student must ensure that the online marks status is clearly mentioned, along with a formal request.
    • b. Students should ensure the attendance status in the register is accurate. This will be cross-verified by the concerned department.
    • c. If the offline marks are missing from the PPU portal, students should submit the prescribed Marks Folio along with External, Internal, and External Exam signatures.
    • d. In case the practical exam has been marked incomplete or there is an issue with the result, the student must submit the grievance in the prescribed format to the concerned authority for resolution.
  2. General Grievance Submission Guidelines
    • a. All grievances must be submitted through the prescribed format. Students are required to submit grievances within 15 days of the result publication.
    • b. Grievances received after the 15-day period from the result publication will not be considered for resolution.

Important Note: Any grievances related to results or marks should be submitted directly to the university or college authorities within the stipulated time frame. Failure to adhere to this may result in the grievance being rejected.
