Preliminary Application Forms for admission to the B.Ed. Course will be available on the College Website www.loretocollege.in and www.loretocollegebed.in from July 25, 2025 to August 09, 2025.

School Subjects offered
English, Bengali, Hindi, Economics, Geography, History

The school subject chosen by the applicant should have been studied by the applicant as an Honours Subject / at the Graduation / Post–Graduation level. As per NCTE norms the maximum number of students for a particular teaching school subject is restricted.

Students with Pure Science and Commerce are not eligible

Kindly note your form number, keep a printout of the submitted Application form and online payment receipt. The Application along with photocopies of the relevant uploaded documents need to be brought to the college at the time of the Written test for physical submission.

Verification of the documents will be done when the students report for offline Written Test. Admission will be cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted online.

Age limit
Fresher pupils – 40 years (as on June 2025)

Deputed candidates (Age: no bar) teaching classes V – XII in recognized schools need only apply. A Resolution of the Governing Body/Managing Committee regarding deputation need to be furnished along with the other 5 documents mentioned on the Information sheet.

Any candidate who has obtained 50% marks (in aggregate) in B.A., B.Sc./M.A., M.Sc. is eligible for Admission to the B.Ed. Programme.

The maximum number of seats in Loreto College for the B.Ed. Course (2025 - 2027) is 50.
