Loreto College is a Christian Minority institution. A separate admission list is published for Christians. Seats are also reserved for recognised socially backward communities such as SC, ST, OBC and EWS categories as part of the institution’s commitment to the upliftment of the weaker sections of society.

The college also reserves 5% of seats as management quota and for PWD. All reserved candidates must produce the required documentary evidence of their status while filling out the admission form.
