Counselling for Admission to B. Sc. Nursing/ BAOTT/ BMRIT Programmes under SF Category

It is hereby notified for information of all concerned candidates who have applied against the Admission Notification No. 06 of 2026 Dated: 14-09-2026 and 07 of 2026 Dated: 15-09-2026 and whose names are included in the Merit Lists available on the University Website, that some seats are vacant under Self-Finance (SF) Category only in the programmes mentioned below. Accordingly, candidates whose Rank in the respective merit lists falls within the range indicated against the respective programme and who are interested in seeking admission against the vacant seats, are advised to attend the counselling as per the schedule given below:

Venue: Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, IUST Campus Awantipora

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The selection of the candidates shall be strictly provisional and subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria as determined and fixed by the university and production/ verification of the original documents at the time of admissions. In case of any discrepancy found at any point of time, the University reserves the right to cancel/ modify such selection/ admission without assigning any reason thereof.
2. Carry downloaded application form, original documents, and the required fee as specified in the Admission Guidelines on the University website. Failure to report by the deadline shall lead to forfeiture of the admission claim.
3. The selection shall be subject to the merit and the availability of vacancies, and mere participation in the counselling shall not confer any right to admission.
4. The counselling call for candidates for each programme is in order of merit specified thereat; and in the event of any vacancy (ies) remaining thereafter the merit list shall operate downwards and shall likewise be notified.
