5th Selection List 2025 for Postgraduate Admission (Distance Mode)

• Candidates, whose particulars are mentioned in the selection lists appended to this notification, have been provisionally selected for admission to PG programmes (Distance Mode) offered by this University purely on the basis of Qualifying Examination Merit as per admission policy.
• Provisionally selected candidates are required to download their “Admission Form” from the official website of the University under “Admissions” tab on the home page and click on “Submit Admission Form for 1st Semester” from 23rd September 2025 by entering the Application Form Number and DOB.
• Provisionally selected candidates should have a DEB-ID, which can be generated as given under:
  Visit UGC-DEB web portal https://deb.ugc.ac.in/StudentDeBID and generate DEB ID using your Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID. If you do not have an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID, you can create one through Digi Locker https://www.digilocker.gov.in The DEB-ID, once generated, will remain valid for the student’s lifetime.
  Note: Without a valid DEB-ID, admission cannot be granted to ODL/ OL Programmes.
• The provisionally selected candidates shall complete the admission form and visit the Centre for Distance and Online Education for completing the admission formalities by or before 29-09-2025 (4:00 p.m.).

The admission of the candidates is subject to:

1. Production of all relevant original documents [Marks Certificate/Transcript of qualifying examination, Domicile certificate (other than OSJ), valid Reserved Category certificate (wherever applicable), Migration Certificate (wherever applicable)].
2. Production of eligibility cum revival of registration/migration form, wherever applicable, along with prescribed fee;
3. Fulfilling of minimum required eligibility conditions to be verified by the Centre for Distance and Online Education;
4. Clearance be sought from the Academic Section in respect of candidates having qualified examination from Universities / Institutions other than Universities / Institutions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh;
5. Production of an affidavit sworn in before 1^st Class Judicial Magistrate stating that:
   • I am not on rolls of any Institution for any distance/online programme;
   • All the submitted certificates / documents are genuine and authentic;
   • I have not availed the benefit of the reserved category certificate for pursuing any PG Programme earlier (if seeking admission under any Reserved Category);
   • I shall strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the Centre for Distance and Online Education, University of Kashmir in toto;
   • I understand that in case of any misinformation or concealment of any information or indiscipline or misconduct, my admission to the programme shall be cancelled and I shall be subjected to legal action;
   • I submit this affidavit under free will without any pressure, compulsion, fraud or coercion.
6. The provisionally selected candidates shall approach, along with the admission form and all the relevant certificates and documents (original and self attested Xerox copies) to the Centre for Distance and Online Education, University of Kashmir for verification of documents/ certificates and online acceptance of Admission form for depositing the prescribed Fee via online mode from 23th September to 29th September 2025.
7. Any provisionally selected candidate failing to complete the admission formalities upto 29-09-2025 (4:00 p.m.) shall forfeit his/her right to admission and the resultant vacancy (ies), if any, shall be filled up from among the waiting list. A candidate, who forfeits admission, shall not be given another chance till candidates are available in the merit list.
8. Please note that all the Notifications shall be made available only on the Official website of the University and notice shall not be published in print media nor shall any candidate be informed individually.
9. Notices uploaded on the official website of the University shall be deemed to have been served to the candidates.
