Important Instructions for CLAT UG PG Shortlisted Candidates
All candidates shortlisted for admission to Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programmes through the CLAT Merit List are hereby advised to carefully note and strictly comply with the following mandatory instructions as part of the admission process:
  • Timely Submission of Documents on the Portal
    Candidates must upload and submit all required and relevant documents on the designated admission portal within the timelines prescribed by the CLAT Office. Submissions made after the stipulated deadline shall not be entertained under any circumstances.
  • Timely Submission of Confirmation Fee
    Candidates are required to pay the prescribed confirmation fee within the notified time period. Failure to submit the confirmation fee within the specified deadline shall result in forfeiture of the allotted seat, irrespective of the candidate’s position in the merit list.
  • Mandatory Compliance Even While Exercising the ‘Float’ Option
    It is reiterated for the avoidance of doubt that both the submission of documents and payment of the confirmation fee are mandatory within the stipulated timelines, even if the candidate intends to exercise or has exercised the option of ‘Float’. Exercising the Float option does not exempt the candidate from fulfilling these requirements.

Candidates are strongly advised to regularly check official notifications, timelines, and updates issued by the CLAT authorities and to ensure strict adherence to all procedural requirements. Non-compliance with any of the above instructions may lead to automatic cancellation of the allotted seat without further notice.
