Admission Procedure

Through Counseling:
85% seats of total approved intake will be filled through Counseling based on the CUET (PG)-2025 and eligibility notified by AICTE/AKTU for the session 2025-26.

Procedure:

For participating in the counseling, the candidates are required to visit official website of the university www.aktu.ac.in regularly for detailed information which will be announced shortly.
After the counseling the candidate will get an Allotment letter.
Thereafter the candidate is required to visit the alloted college on the dates as mentioned in the Allotment letter for the final reporting along with the required fees and documents.

Direct Admission:
15% seats will be offered to eligible candidate through direct admissions based on the guidelines of AICTE/AKTU and as per the college policy for the session 2025-26.

Procedure:

Candidate has to apply online through the college website https://abes.ac.in/courses-offered.php
Institute will shortlist the candidates on the basis of their Aggregate in qualifying exam and JEE Score/Rank.
Thereafter, candidate will be called for an interview.
On the basis of marks scored in the test and Interview. The candidate will be offered seat for the admission.

Eligibility

B.Tech. (1st Year), 4 Years:

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics / Mathematics / Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship as per table 1.3(a) – Annexure 1 (copy enclosed).
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
OR
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
The University will offer suitable bridge courses (such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc.), for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare Level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme.

B.Tech. Lateral Entry (2nd Year), 3 Years:

Passed Minimum 3 years / 2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology (except Agriculture Engg., Pharmacy and Architecture) from the institution recognized by BTEUP or equivalent.
OR
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject. Will be allotted if seats remain vacant after allotment to Diploma Students.
OR
Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector from the institution recognized by BTEUP or equivalent.
