Admission to Post Graduate Courses for the session 2025-26

For admission to Post Graduate programmes, the candidates will be required to submit an online Application Form for University of Rajasthan Admission Test for Post Graduate Courses-2025 (URATPG-2025).

PHASE-I
Online Application Form	07th May 2025 to 24th May 2025
Last Date of Online Application	24th May 2025 (up to 11:59 P.M.) (No need to deposit hard copy)
Display of Time table & Admit Card Generation	06th June 2025 (04:00 P.M. Onwards)
Dates of Examination (Tentative)	09th June, 2025 to 13th June, 2025 (Subject-wise time table will be declared on 06th June, 2025)
Display of Answer Key on University Website	Subject answer key will be published on the day of the exam at 06:00 P.M. on the website.
Grievance regarding Test	Any grievance pertaining to questions in a Test subject of URATPG 2025 should be sent in the relevant format along with clear scanned copy of proof as attachment only on uratpggrievance@gmail.com within two days 48 hours) of the end of the said Test subject examination. No grievance regarding any question will be entertained after the end of 48 hours.

For Preparation of Merit List of Admission:

70% weightage of written examination of entrance test of URATPG + 30% weightage of marks obtained in graduation as mentioned in University Prospectus2025-26 and weightage (if any) as given in the Prospectus.
Reservation rules as per Government of Rajasthan policy.
In subjects of Drawing & Painting Practical Test (30 marks) will also be held by the concerned department.

Scheme for URATPG-2025

URATPG-2025 Entrance Test shall consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions carrying one (1) mark each.

For each Test Subject: 100 questions of the concerned subject within the notified syllabus (which is available on the University website for all Under Graduate Programmes).

The duration for each paper shall be 2 Hours (i.e. one hundred twenty minutes).

Syllabus of Entrance Test Subject

There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions (numbering 1 to 100) related to the Entrance Test Subject.

The Syllabus of each Test Subject comprises of the composite syllabus of Undergraduate Programme of that Particular Subject (of Session 2024-25) in the annual Undergraduate Programme of Part I, Part II and Part III in the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

About URATPG-2025

Admission to all the PG Departments of the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur shall be on the basis of Entrance Test and Academic Merit of the qualifying Examination. However, admissions in all the PG programmes being run under the Faculty of Law shall be on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in URATPG-2025 examination only.
Admission to different streams of Faculty of Fine Arts (Drawing and Painting) will be given on the basis of 70% weightage of marks obtained in URATPG 2025 + 30% (Marks of qualifying exam) + 30 Marks in the Practical Exam wherever applicable (to be conducted by the concerned Department).

The process of admission to PG Departments shall be carried out in the following two phases:

PHASE-I

The Candidate is required to visit the University website https://admissions.univraj.org for further details regarding application and Admission form submission.
The candidate can appear for a maximum of 03 (three) test subjects in the Entrance Test through a single form.

Requisite fee will be paid online through ICICI Bank payment gateway.

After the payment of online fee, the candidate will be redirected to fill the online application form on the University website: https://admissions.univraj.org.
THE APPLICANTS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO DEPOSIT THE HARD COPY OF THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM OF FIRST PHASE. HOWEVER, THEY ARE ADVISED TO KEEP THE HARDCOPY OF THE ONLINE APPLICATION FORM FOR THEIR OWN REFERENCE.

URATPG-2025 shall be held for the admission to following subjects:

Only appearing in the University of Rajasthan PG Entrance Test (URATPG-2025) will not ensure admission to a programme of study in the University. Each candidate shall ensure that he/she fulfills the Eligibility Criteria and that the particulars furnished in the Admission Form are complete and correct in all the respect. In case, if it is detected at any stage that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility criteria and/or has furnished incorrect information or suppressed any material/information, his/her candidature will be cancelled and if already admitted, all benefits accrued there on are liable to be forfeited, besides rustication from the University.
In case the applicant for admission is found to have indulged in ragging in the past or if it is noticed later that he/she has indulged in ragging, admission may be refused or he/she shall be expelled from the educational institution. However, if any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned student shall be given opportunity to explain and if his/her explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him/her from the Institution.
NO SEPARATE INTIMATION REGARDING SELECTION TO A PROGRAMME OF STUDY SHALL BE SENT TO THE APPLICANT. THE CANDIDATES ARE DIRECTED TO REMAIN IN TOUCH WITH THE CONCERNED DEPARTMENT AND CHECK THE NOTICE BOARD OF THE DEPARTMENT AND UNIVERSITY ADMISSION WEBSITE (https://admissions.univraj.org) FOR DAY TO DAY INFORMATION.

Entrance Test Details

The entrance test for each subject/programme shall have 100 objective type questions carrying one (1) mark each within the notified syllabus(which is available on the website of the University for all undergraduate subjects/programme).The duration for each paper shall be 2 hours.
Admission to different programmes run by Department of Drawing & Painting will be given on the basis of 70% weightage of marks obtained in the subject Test in URATPG-2025 + 30% (Marks of qualifying exam) + 30 Marks in the Practical Exam wherever applicable.
Examination Centres: The Centre for Entrance Test (URATPG-2025) and Roll number will be provided on Admission Card which can be downloaded from the University website closer to the examination dates. The candidate will be required to fix a self-attested recent photograph on the Admission Card and will have to produce at least two (02) valid Government ID proofs in the examination hall.
The Time Schedule of Entrance Test will be notified on the University website separately.
The sample question papers of URATPG-2024 examination are available on the University website https://admissions.univraj.org.
Totally blind candidates must arrange amanuensis on their own and should carry attested copies of the certificate issued in accordance with Statute 17 (A) (ii). Moreover, attested copies of Mark sheet/Certificate and Photo Identity of amanuensis who should not possess qualification higher than 10+2, be also submitted to the Superintendent of the Entrance Test Centre one day prior to the Test date.
Publication of Answer Key: The University shall publish the Answer Key pertaining to URATPG-2025 on the University website. Candidates having any doubt with reference to Answer Key/Questions in the URATPG-2025 can communicate the same to the Office of the Convener (email id: uratpggrievance@gmail.com), URATPG-2025 as specified in the notification of examination.
The candidates will not be allowed to enter in the Examination Hall before ten minutes of the commencement of the Examination.
After completion of entrance test, the candidates can carry Question Booklet with them.

PHASE-II

After Declaration of URATPG-2025 Entrance Test Result, the candidate will be required to generate Admission form for Test Subject related Programmes from University Website https://admissions.univraj.org.
After depositing requisite fee online through ICICI bank payment Gateway, the candidate will be redirected to fill application form for the chosen programme.
The candidate can offer a maximum of 05 (Five) programmes either of one faculty or in more than one faculty. These programmes would be available within the scope of the subjects in which candidate appeared in the entrance test. The requisite fee will be separate for different programmes.

IF A CANDIDATE EITHER DOES NOT CHOOSE A TEST SUBJECT OR REMAINS ABSENT IN THE CHOSEN TEST SUBJECT THEN THE CANDIDATE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO CHOOSE SUCH SUBJECT RELATED PROGRAMMES.
The candidate has to submit the Hard copy of these forms in the programme related Department/Centre on or before the prescribed date of submission of the Hard Copy.
The candidate has to submit the self-attested copies of the following Certificates/Documents along with hard copy of the online generated application form:
a) Secondary School Marks Sheet
b) Senior Secondary School Marks Sheet
c) Undergraduate Marks Sheet
d) Valid Caste Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS (if applicable)
e) Certificate/document to claim weightage (PH/Sports/ NSS/ NCC/Others), if any.
f) Any other document which the candidate thinks appropriate.
g) Original Challan for each programme as application fee.
Head of the Department/Director of the Centre will constitute an Admission Committee to prepare the merit list, based on URATPG-2025 test marks (70% weightage) and 30% weightage of the academic performance in the qualifying examination and weightage (for other activities), if applicable as given in the Prospectus. The concerning Head of the Department/Director will display the list of the eligible candidates seeking admission to the program based on the merit. The decision of the concerned HOD relating to grant of admission will be final. Reservation policy of the University will be followed, while preparing the merit in the Departments/Centres.
The candidate belonging to Outright Category (O) shall also be required to appear in the URATPG-2025.

Important Steps for Submission of Online Application

The candidate will fill the online Application Form on the University website and would submit the form online.
The Candidate is required to go to University website https://admissions.univraj.org and click on Apply Online under the URATPG-2025 link. The Candidate will be redirected to Click on URATPG-2025 PHASE-I FORM.
The form page will open. Read the instructions and proceed to the personal details page. Fill in relevant details and Press the Next Button
The applicants should ensure that the entries of Name and date of birth are as per the Xth Board mark sheet.
The candidate must have the scanned copy of passport size photograph (file format: JPG/JPEG and size should not exceed 450 KB) and scanned copy of signature (size should not exceed 350 KB) for uploading.
Requisite Fee printed on the Payment Invoice can be paid Online Only.
For payment of the requisite fee Click on Payment button on the page. You will be redirected to ICICI Bank Eazypay online payment gateway.
Select Payment Mode option (Net Banking/ Debit Card/Credit Card/ GPay/Paytm/UPI). Click on "Proceed Now Button".
Follow the instructions and pay Fee.
Payment Invoice will appear after the payment is successful. Check the details. Candidates are advised to print payment invoice for their future reference by clicking "Print Form" link.
The applicants are not required to submit the hard copy of the online application form. However, they are advised to keep the hard copy of the online application for their own reference.
