Admission to Diploma in Modern Office Practice & Management (MOPM), Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HMCT) and Diploma in Pharmacy (PHARM) for the academic session 2025-26

Last date for online application for admission in PHARM, HMCT, MOPM has been extended upto 15/11/2025.

Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to the following courses during the Academic Session 2025-26 in different Government and Self-Financed Institutions under affiliation of the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education & Skill Development (WBSCT&VE&SD):

Diploma in Pharmacy (PHARM) (Duration of Course: 2 years)
Diploma in Modern Office Practice & Management (MOPM) (Duration of Course: 3 years)
Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HMCT) (Duration of Course: 3 years)

Date of Opening of Online Application Portal: 24/09/2025.
Last Date for Submission of Online Application: 30/10/2025 15/11/2025.
Application Fee: Rs. 450/- (For valid Kanyashree Enrolees Rs. 225/-).
Applicants are requested to download a copy of the filled-in application form, after submitting the online application.

Eligibility Criteria of Applicants

Citizenship: Must be an Indian Citizen.

2	Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (HMCT)	Passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent examination from any recognized Board / Council / Institute	Should not born after 01/07/2008	3 years
3	Diploma in Pharmacy (PHARM)	Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination in Science Academic Stream with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics from any recognized Board / Council / Institute. Applicant should reside or carry on business or profession of Pharmacy in the State of West Bengal Candidates passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination or equivalent examinations in Vocational Stream Courses are not eligible for admission in Diploma in Pharmacy course, as per prescribed admission eligibility criteria of Pharmacy Council of India	Candidate should attain the age of 18 years as on 31st December, 2025	2 years

Application Fee (Non-Refundable): Rs. 450/- (For valid Kanyashree Enrollees: Rs. 225/-)
Payment of Application Fee: Through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI

An applicant should ensure that he/she satisfies the requirements relating to Age, Educational Qualification, etc. before submission of the application. The application will be automatically rejected, if a candidate does not fulfill these requirements. Any candidate, found not in full conformity with his/her submitted information at the time of verification of original testimonials, will not be allowed admission even after he/she secures a rank in the merit list, getting allotment of a seat and take final admission in any Institution. Application will have to be filled-up properly and completely in all respect. No request for subsequent change in information submitted by the candidate will be entertained under any circumstances. The Council is not liable for refusal of admission to a candidate by the institute authorities for wrong submission of information by the candidate, even after being merit listed or getting allotment of a seat.

If after scrutiny at any stage, it is found that an applicant is ineligible as per prescribed eligibility norms, his/her candidature will stand cancelled even if he/she secures a position in the merit list or a seat is allotted to him/her or takes admission and gets registered.

Applicants are advised to download the copy of the filled-in application form after submitting the application.

Admission

Admission of students to the Institutions will be made from the merit listed candidates through centralized/Institute level counselling. Detailed information regarding counselling and other related information will be available in the website https://sctedved.wb.gov.in/polyadm in due course of time.

Securing a rank in the merit list and allotment of a seat through counseling, does not constitute a right / guarantee in favour of the candidate for his/her admission to any diploma course, unless he/she fulfills eligibility requirements to be verified at the time of final admission at the institute level. Verification will be done at the time of physical admission in the respective institutions.

Details regarding the Institutions where admission were allowed for the Academic Session 2024-25, are given in ANNEXURE.

Admission of students to the aforesaid courses during the Academic Session 2025-26 in the Institutions mentioned in the attached ANNEXURE is subject to the approval of the AICTE (for MOPM & HMCT courses) and PCI (for Pharmacy course) and affiliation of the WBSCT&VE&SD for the academic session 2025-26. The final institute list will be available at the time of Counselling.

Registration

After admission, all students shall have to get themselves registered under this Council. The notice in this regard will be published in the website https://sctedved.wb.gov.in/polyadm and will also inform to all concerned Institutions.

Admission in respect of the candidates failing to get themselves registered u nder the Council within the stipulated time will be cancelled automatically and no further claim will be entertained.
