Subject to verification of original documents, satisfaction of the minimum requirements of qualification and receipt of undertaking as per the format attached herewith, the candidates in the attached list have been provisionally selected for admission to the Ph.D. programmes of the University in the Spring Semester 2026.

Admission for Ph.D. programmes in the Spring Semester 2026 from the Merit List will be in online mode by paying admission fee through ‘SAMARTH’ Portal during 12.01.2026 to 19.01.2026.

Waiting list candidates, if any and subject to availability of vacancy will be notified in due course of time.

Subject to availability, hostel allotment and admission will be carried out separately by Dean, Student Welfare (DSW) after the Ph.D. admission is completed.

The candidates are required to report forphysical verification of documents in the concern Department/Centre at Tezpur University during 20-22 January, 2026.

The concerned department/centre will verify the documents and forward the selfattested copies of all documents of the admitted candidates along with application form, Admission Record form and copy of fee payment receipt to the office of the undersigned latest by 23st January 2026.
