Applications are invited for admission to the above mentioned courses. The Subjects are :
Bengali, Comparative Indian Language & Literature (CILL), English, Linguistics, Pali, Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic & Persian, French, Buddhist Studies, History, Ancient Indian History & Culture, Islamic History & Culture, Archaeology, Museology, Philosophy, Political Science, Sociology, Economics , South & South East Asian Studies (SSEAS), Education, and Journalism & Mass Communication.
N.B. : Number of seats and seats reserved for SC/ST/OBC and Person with Disability for each subject have been shown in brochure vide Section no.3.

Important Dates :

Submission of online application commences on	:	20.07.2015
Last date of online application submission	:	30.07.2015
Last date of receiving hardcopy of Application Form	:	31.07.2015
Publication of the Provisional Merit list /Selection list (for 60% of seats)	:	06.08.2015
Last Date of claim for correction	:	07.08.2015 (upto 4 PM)
Date of Admission (Allied Subjects) for 60% seats on and from	:	11.08.2015 to 14.08.2015
Date of Admission in case of vacancy	:	will be intimated later
Date of commencement of first year M.A. / M.Sc. (Econ) classes	:	to be notified later
Admission will be held until the vacant seats are filled up (please follow the notice board regularly).	:	--
Admit Cards (online) may be downloaded from the University portal	:	17.08.2015 to 21.08.15
Date of Entrance test for 40% seats (Duration : 1 hour)	:	will be notified later
Date of publication of provisional merit list (40% seats)	:	will be notified later
