Physical Verification of Documents of Newly Admitted Students
Post Graduate Admission 2025-2027

This is hereby notified to all concerned that the physical verification of original credentials of the newly admitted M. A./M. Sc. 1st Semester (Academic Session: 2025-2027) students will be held on 01. 09. 2025 at 12.00 noon. Students who got provisionally admitted to the P. G. courses in this College are asked to be present in the Vidyasagar Sabhagriha, Centenary Building of this College on the said date (01. 09. 2025 at 12.00 noon) positively.

The newly admitted students have to bring the following credentials (Both originals and selfattested photocopies) during the time of physical verification of their original credentials on the aforesaid date.

1. Printed copy of duly filled-in M. A./M. Sc. admission application form (1 self-attested copy)
2. Age proof certificate (Admit card of Madhyamik/equivalent examination or birth certificate) (Original copy + 1 self-attested photocopy)
3. Mark sheet of Madhyamik/equivalent examination (Original copy + 1 self-attested photocopy)
4. Mark sheet of H. S. or equivalent examination (Original copy + 1 self-attested photocopy)
5. Mark sheets of 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th semester (CBCS System) examinations of B. A./B. Sc. Honours courses (Non-laminated original copy of each examination + 1 self-attested photocopy of each examination)
6. Pay-Slip (2 self-attested photocopies: One verified copy to be returned to the student and another verified copy to be kept in the concerned Department)
7. Recent passport sized coloured photograph (2 copies), applicant’s name (In CAPITAL LETTERS) to be written on the back side of each photograph
8. Certificate of reservation category (If any) issued by the competent authority as per government rule (Original copy + 1 self-attested photocopy)
9. Disability certificate ([PWDS/Divyangyan], if any) (Original copy + 1 self-attested photocopy)
10. EWS certificate ([Valid only for the issuance of the financial year: 2025–2026, if any] issued by the competent authorities such as BDO for rural areas, SDO for municipality areas and DWO for Kolkata and other municipal corporation areas (Original copy + 1 self-attested photocopy)
11. Aadhaar card (Original copy)
12. ABC (Academic Bank of Credits) ID card (2 self-attested photocopies)
13. Admission cancellation/migration certificate from other university/college (If already admitted in another university/college, Original copy + 1 self-attested photocopy)
14. Printed copy of anti-ragging declaration certificate duly signed by the guardian and the student

N. B.: If anti-ragging declaration certificate has yet not been submitted (in online mode only) by the students, then they are asked to submit affidavit registration form by using the following link https://www.antiragging.in/affidavit_affiliated_form.php and after submission the form, a reference number will be generated and they are also asked to go to the link https://www.antiragging.in/undertaking_request.php for downloading the undertaking certificate by using the previously generated reference number.

If any discrepancy is found during the time of the physical verification of credentials, only the concerned student will be liable for cancellation of his/her candidature.

The student must be present during the time of physical verification of credentials. In emergency cases, the parent/guardian of the concerned student must appear in the respective Department of the College along with the authorization letter duly signed by the student and the above mentioned credentials (Both originals and self-attested photocopies) of the student. Absence of any newly admitted student or parent/guardian in the above mentioned date may lead to cancellation of admission in this College.
