Qualifying Exams

A list of qualifying exams for admissions to PES is provided below

B.Tech.	JEE Main, Karnataka CET. However, registration from https://admissions.pes.edu is mandatory.
MBBS	Admissions are exclusively through the KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) counseling process using the NEET rank / score.
Law Programs	PES Entrance Process – Register from https://admissions.pes.edu. For BBA,LLB (Hons) and BA, LLB (Hons), CLAT scores are also accepted. However, registration from https://admissions.pes.edu is mandatory even if the candidate seeks admission through CLAT score.
B.Arch	Admissions is primarily based on the NATA score of the candidate. However, registration from https://admissions.pes.edu is mandatory even if the admission is through NATA scores.
MBA	PES Entrance Process – Register from https://admissions.pes.edu. MAT, CAT, CMAT, NMAT, GMAT, ATMA scores are also accepted. However, registration from https://admissions.pes.edu is mandatory even if the candidate seeks admission through MAT, CAT, CMAT, NMAT, GMAT, ATMA scores.

	Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) - Diploma Lateral Entry	Should have passed a 10+3 diploma examination with at least 60% aggregate score in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology from DTE (Department of Technical Education) affiliated and approved institution.

Institute of Medicine	Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)	Admission for all the seats of all the above four quota’s are through the KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) counseling process only based on the NEET rank / score of the candidate.
Institute of Architecture	Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)	1. No candidate shall be admitted to architecture course unless she/he has passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies with at least 45% marks in aggregate or passed 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject with atleast 45% marks in aggregate. 2. The candidate needs to qualify NATA, an aptitude test in architecture conducted by the Council of Architecture (CoA). 3. Minimum NATA score (eligibility) required for PESU Merit seat is 90 / 200 (may be subject to change based on norms) HFC seat is 60 / 200 (may be subject to change based on norms) KCET seat – Depends on KCET counseling process

Institute of Nursing	Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing	Applicants minimum age for admission shall be 17 years as on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 35 years. Candidate should have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English papers individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks together in PCB papers at the II PUC or 12th Standard i.e. (10+2). - Admissions for B.Arch course will be through the NATA scores. However, registration through https://admissions.pes.edu/ is mandatory after which the candidate can upload the NATA score on our website when the NATA scores are announced.
MBBS
- All the admissions process will be through KCET counseling based on the NEET scores of the candidate
- Candidates can register through https://admissions.pes.edu/ for the MBBS program so that PES University may keep in touch with these candidates regarding their admissions timelines and developments in the University
- This registration for MBBS on https://admissions.pes.edu/ is free of cost
Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) / Master of Design (M.Des.)
- Admissions for Bachelor of Design (B.Des) and Master of Design (M.Des) can be done through UCEED and CEED respectively. However, registration through https://admissions.pes.edu and payment of online registration fee of Rs. 1,200/- is mandatory even if admission is done through UCEED / CEED scores. Such Candidates will have an advantage as additional points will be assigned during the entrance process for such candidates
BBA-LLB (Hons.) / BA-LLB (Hons.)
- Admissions for Law courses (BBA,LLB / BA,LLB – All Honors programs) can be done through CLAT scores. However, registration through https://admissions.pes.eduand payment of online registration fee of Rs. 1200 is mandatory even if admission is done through CLAT scores. Such Candidates will have an advantage as additional points will be assigned during the entrance process for such candidates
M.Tech.
- Admissions for the M.Tech course can be done through GATE score. However, registration through https://admissions.pes.edu/ and payment of online registration fee of Rs. 1200 is mandatory even if admission is done through GATE score. Such Candidates will have an advantage as additional points will be assigned during the entrance process for such candidates.
- Admission for M.Tech will be primarily done for 2 branches, which are, Electronics & Communications Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. However, after admission, the student would be provided with specialization options under each branch. General Instructions
- Although B.Tech, BBA, B.Com are offered at both Ring Road campus and Electronic City campus, the admission process will be the same. For B.Tech, campus will be allotted based on the merit of the candidate. For BBA, B.Com, candidates can choose the campus of their choice in the application form during registration and the same campus will be allotted after the candidate takes & qualifies in the admissions process
- Candidates who have already registered by giving basic information and left without completing the payment need not start from beginning. Such candidates can sign in using their email id as username and the password that was created by the during filling of basic information and complete the balance process of payment and final registration
- If a candidate is interested to apply for two or more courses, then he/she needs to register for those courses separately from https://admissions.pes.edu by paying the registration fee separately for each. Candidate must use a different email id for each of the separate registration done.
