Admission to Certificate, Diploma & Adv. Diploma, Skill Development & Other Courses, 2025 for Foreign Nationals

INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FOR ADMISSION IN
CERTIFICATE, DIPLOMA, ADVANCE DIPLOMA, SKILL DEVELOPMENT & OTHER COURSES

Students from abroad are welcome at Visva-Bharati. They may join certain specific Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, PG Diploma & Skill development courses specially designed for the foreign students.
Before joining any course of the University, they must satisfy the academic requirements mentioned in the eProspectus for certificate, diploma, adv. diploma, skill development courses 2025 available on www.vbadmission.in.
They should apply through https://forms.gle/BmDYNCsb9xzhm9HC9 based on the concerned admission notification published/uploaded on the university admission portal (www.vbadmission.in).

There is a provision for One Year Certificate Course for Foreign Students (CFS) who have passed the Higher Secondary examination or its equivalent and satisfy certain criteria set for admission to the course concerned. The courses are offered in the following subjects:

• Modern Indian Culture with special reference to Rabindranath and Gandhi

Foreign Applicants need to apply separately for the various programmes at Visva-Bharati for their admission as their admission process is not same for Indian nationals. They are requested to visit Visva-Bharati Admission Portal (www.vbadmission.in) regularly for updated information and filled up the form accordingly.

Application process for admission to Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, PG Diploma & Skill development courses of Visva-Bharati for International Students for the session 2025-26 will commence from 12th September (Friday), 2025. The important dates are given below:

The Prospectus-2025 for Diploma, Certificate, Adv. Diploma and other courses can be downloaded from the Visva-Bharati admission portal www.vbadmission.in.

It is to be noted that the entire process of admission 2025-2026 will be guided by the Prospectus2025 for Diploma, Certificate, Adv. Diploma and other courses and the notifications published time to time by the University in the admission portal. Candidates must read very carefully the guidelines available in the Prospectus before submission of online application.

Applicants are requested to regularly visit the Visva- Bharati admission portal to keep updated about the information relating to admission for the session 2025-26.

Foreign applicants can start filling up the application forms for different Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, PG Diploma & Skill development courses following the procedure described below:

• Form to be filled up before starting online application by international students:
  Registration Form.
  Note: Please fill up the form accordingly
• Documents to be kept ready:
  • First Page of Passport showing name and other personal details
  • Passing Certificate of Qualifying/Equivalence Degree
  • Marks sheet of Qualifying/Equivalence Degree
  • Payment Receipts generated through online submission
  • Filled in application form
• Online payment method:
  • Step 1: Go to https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect or https://www.onlinesbi.sbi/sbicollect/icollecthome.htm
  • Step 2: Select "Educational Institution"
  • Step 3: Type VISVA BHARATI UNIVERSITY in the search bar given for Educational Institutions.
  • Step 4: Click on VISVA BHARATI UNIVERSITY
  • Step 5: Select 'Payment Category – Misc Receipt' under Enter Payment details.
  • Step 6: Under Payment category (For SAARC countries- INR 5,000 or equivalent USD and for Non-SAARC countries- INR 10,000 or equivalent USD), select Application form fee payment option.
  • Step 7: Under remark, mention for which School or Department you are applying or any comment that you feel it will help.

  • Upload all the documents mentioned in point number [2].
