The Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme is an Indian government initiative allowing NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and foreign nationals to secure undergraduate engineering/architecture seats at premier institutions (NITs, IIITs, SPAs) using JEE Main ranks. It focuses on international applicants, with 15% supernumerary seats available, including 5% reserved for children of Indian workers in the Gulf.
