Standalone UG Admission 2025
In pursuance of the G. O. No. 699/1(39)-HED-17014(99)/186/2025-CS SEC. dated 23.09.2025 in
order to fill up residual vacant seats, fresh applications are being invited for admission
to Semester I of Four Year B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com (Honours & Honours with Research) and
Three-Year Multidisciplinary B.A. Courses Under CCF for the Academic Session 2025-26.
Admission is strictly merit based and subject to availability of seats. Applicants are
instructed to read carefully the guidelines provided below and the eligibility criteria
before filling in the application form online.
Online Application for admission will open on and from 12.10.2025, Sunday (17:00 hrs.)
to 14.10.2025, Tuesday (23:59:59 hrs.). Applicants will apply online only through
the admission portal of the college:
https://maulanaazadcollegekolkata.ac.in.
The details schedule of the UG Admission through standalone portal is given in
Annexure I.
INSTRUCTION AND ADMISSION PROCEDURE
- Eligible year of passing out 10+2 examinations are 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025.
- Only candidates from boards/schools authorized by University of Calcutta will be eligible.

In case of tie of merit score (when necessary),
Tie breaker 1 - the subject marks;
Tie breaker 2 - marks in English in 10+2 examination;
Tie breaker 3 - the percentage of 10th level Examination.
- No candidates /guardians are allowed to be present physically in the college premises during the Admission process.
- Reservation Policy as per Govt. of West Bengal Rule will be applicable.
- Admission process will continue following Government / University notifications to be published time to time and rules set by the College.
