List of Shortlisted Candidates for Viva Voce for Admission to Ph.D in Sociology (DURAT exempted category)

NOTIFICATION

The Viva-voce examination for the Ph.D. programme 2025-26 in Sociology, Dibrugarh University is scheduled to be held on 11/08/2025 for DURAT exempted candidates as notified by the Deputy Registrar (Academic) vide memo no. DU/DR-A/Ph.D.-DURAT exempted/2025/492 dated: 30/06/2025. The following candidates are requested to appear before the Interview Board.

Note:

The candidates are hereby requested to report to the Department of Sociology, D.U. positively by 9.30 a.m. on the date of interview.
The Viva-voce shall start from 10.30 a.m. onwards.
The selection procedure shall be as per notification by the Deputy Registrar (Academic) vide memo no. DU/DR-A/Ph.D.-DURAT exempted/2025/492 dated: 30/06/2025.
The merit list shall be announced on 11/08/2025 (after completion of the Viva-voce examination) itself and the provisional selected candidates must take admission on the same day i.e. 11/08/2025.
The candidates selected for Viva-voce should bring a presentation and 15 minutes will be given for the presentation followed by interaction and viva. This presentation is only for evaluation and not for the selection of the topic of research.
