Notice for On-Spot Online Admission
Postgraduate (First Semester) Session 2025–27

Issued as per directions regarding admission on remaining vacant seats after the publication of selection lists.

Who may apply

All applicants who applied for admission but remain unassigned after the selection lists (including candidates who applied on 05.12.2025 and 06.12.2025) may participate in the online on-spot admission for vacant seats.

Portal & Important Dates

Online selection of postgraduate department/college will be available on the University website: www.lnmu.ac.in.
Online selection window: 11.12.2025 to 12.12.2025.
The on-spot selection portal will be made active on 11.12.2025 at 11:30 AM.
The university will publish the list of candidates selected under the on-spot online process on 13.12.2025.
Selected candidates will be able to download their Selection Letter from the University portal between 15.12.2025 and 16.12.2025.

General instructions

Note: The number of vacant seats may reduce during multiple rounds/steps of on-spot allocation. Departments/colleges and subjects will display vacant seats in up to three phases as part of the on-spot process. If the number of vacant seats for a particular subject becomes zero, that subject/department/college will no longer appear for selection.

Log in to the University admission portal using your User ID and Password.
After logging in, the applicant may select the desired postgraduate department/college from the online on-spot selection menu during the active window (11–12 December 2025).
Each applicant may choose one department/college at a time during the on-spot online process. The university will perform selection online based on the order of preferences and available seats.
Selection lists for candidates chosen under the on-spot online system will be published on the university website, and selected candidates must download their Selection Letter within the specified dates.

If you have already applied and remain unassigned, use your application User ID and Password to log in and select the department/college during the on-spot selection window.

If you face login issues or cannot access the portal, contact the university admission helpdesk (details available on the university website).
