M.Tech. in Petroleum Technology (Petroleum Exploration and Production) Programme (under Endowment Category)

Online applications are invited from eligible intending candidates for admission into the Two Year M. Tech. in Petroleum Technology (Petroleum Exploration and Production) programme of Dibrugarh University for the academic session 2025-2026 under the Endowment Category.

Seats available: Two (02) Seats.

Eligibility:

• Candidates having B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical/Chemical/Petroleum Engineering and M.Sc./M.Tech. in Applied Geology/Geology/Geophysics from any recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply. M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology/Geophysics candidates should have Mathematics in their B.Sc. level. However, they have to produce final semester mark sheet/grade sheet and pass certificate at the time of counselling & admission.
• The admission shall be purely provisional subject to production of relevant documents of passing the qualifying examinations with requisite norms at the time of counselling. An undertaking shall be taken from the admitted candidates in this regard. The GATE qualified candidates having valid score card will get preference in selection and admission into the program. The GATE score card has to be uploaded along with the application form.
• The selected candidates must have to produce the original testimonials and certificates at the time of interview / counselling. They have to submit a print copy of application form along with self-attested relevant documents.
• The list of the selected candidates and date of counselling will be notified in the department Notice Board and on the university website (www.dibru.ac.in).

How to Apply

1. Application for admission (Under Endowment Category) into the "Two-year M. Tech. in Petroleum Technology (Petroleum Exploration & Production) Programme" shall be through online mode only. No other means of application shall be accepted.
2. Online registration for submission of Application form will begin from 09.09.2025. The last date of submission of application is 11.09.2025 (till 12.00 midnight).
3. For submission of the online application form, intending candidates are advised to follow the following instructions:
   1. For Online Applications, please login to Admission Portal on https://dibru.ac.in or https://erp.dibru.work/
   2. The candidates need to register on the portal by clicking the “Register” button and providing his/her name, mobile number and a password. The mobile number will be verified through an OTP. Please remember the password for login.
   3. After successful registration, the candidates need to login using his/her mobile number and the password.
   4. After login, the candidates need to click on the "Apply" button corresponding to the link of "M. Tech. in Petroleum Technology (Petroleum Exploration & Production) Programme" which will lead to an application form. The candidates need to fill up the application form step by step.
   5. After filling up the form, candidates need to click the button “Submit and Review". A preview of the filled-up form will be displayed. Candidates are advised to carefully crosscheck the information and if anything needs to be corrected at this stage, they can go back and edit.
   6. After ensuring that all the information displayed on the preview is correct, the candidates need to click "Pay now & Submit the Application" and they pay the application fees for Rs. 950/- (rupees nine hundred fifty only) through online-mode (Debit card/Credit Card/Internet Banking).
   7. The application form will be considered finally submitted only when the application fees is successfully paid by the candidates and on online receipt is generated confirming the payment.
   8. There will be a button to download the Application form for future reference.
   9. The candidates shall have to take a print out of the Application form and bring the same for verification on the day of the counselling and admission.
   10. The submission of Online Application forms shall be automatically closed after the last date.
