Online Applications are invited for Admission in Post Graduate Self Finance Courses - MBA, MCA, M.Sc.(Bio.Tec.), M.Sc.(Envir. Science), M.A.(Public Administration), M.A. (P.M.I.R./L.S.W.), M.Sc. (Electronics), P.G.D.C.R. for session 2025-27 & B. Lis for session 2025-26 running in different Constituent Colleges of the Patliputra University, Patna. The admission process starts from the 13th July 2025.

NOTE:- Merit list for admission in MBA will not be rolled on 07th August 2025.
  • Fee for online application form for admission in PG Self finance courses is to be paid in online mode only. The fee structure is -
  • for General, BC-1, BC-II, EWS students = 1100/- (Rupees Eleven hundred only) and for SC and ST students = Rs. 750/- (Rupees Seven Hundred Fifty only)
  • Eligibility Criteria: PG Self Finance Courses:
  • MBA: Graduation with a least 50% marks (45% for Reserved Categories) in aggregate & having score of CMAT/MAT/AIMA (CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT or Common Entrance Test of respective States) followed by GD & Pl.
  • MCA:- BCA with 45% Marks, Passed in Mathematics at Bachelor Degree and +2 level 55% marks in allied subjects (Math, statistics/Physics/electronics with computer applications/computer science as a subsidiary subject having passed in Mathematics at Bachelor degree and 10+2 level, B.Tech./B.E, in CS, ICT/Electronics/EC Engineering/Electrical and Electronics/Electronics and Instrumentation having passed in Mathematics at Bachelor degree and 10+2 level.
  • M.Sc. (Bio. Technology): Graduate degree in Life Sciences (Bio. Tech/Botany/ Zoology/Chemistry/Microbiology/Industrial Microbiology/Environmental Science, Bioinformatics, B.Tech., Bio. Technology, B.Sc. Agriculture, Bachelor in Veterinary Science (B.V. Sc.), B.D.S., B.A.M.S.,B.H.M.S. & equivalent with 55% Marks in aggregate at Graduation level (45% for SC,ST, & EBC)
  • M.A. (Public Administration):- Graduation with at least 45% marks.
  • M.A. (Labour & Social Welfare):- Graduation with at least 45% marks.
  • M.Sc. (Electronics):- Passed B.Sc. Electronics/Science graduate with Physics, Mathematics with at least 45% marks.
  • M.Sc. (Environmental Science):- B.Sc. with Botany/Zoology/Physics/Chemistry/ EWM/Environmental Science/Engineering and Science graduate.
  • P.G.D.C.R.:- Graduation with at least 45% marks.
  • Lis-Graduation with at least 45% marks
  • Selection Criteria:- The merit list will be prepared for the self finance courses on the basis of the marks obtained in respective Honors' subject/major subjects followed by subsidiary/pass course and lastly by the Allied subjects.
  • If a candidate mentions his/her caste category/marks etc. falsely his/her application from will be rejected without refund of the application fee.
