Admission to Ph.D. Programme in Biochemistry, 2025

Applications are invited for 20 vacancies for Ph.D. registration in the Department of Biochemistry for the year 2025 from eligible Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences and Physical Sciences post graduate students who would be placed under the supervision of the following Principal Investigators (Mentors) for pursuing their Ph.D. degree.

Important Dates:

• Last date of receiving application: 23th April, 2025
• Date and time of the examination: 28th April, at 12 noon in the Department of Biochemistry (Room no 740).
• Declaration of eligible candidates for interview: 28th April at 5 PM in the Department of Biochemistry.
• Date of interview: 29th April, 2025 from 11 am in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Calcutta.

Submission of fees:

Candidates are requested to deposit Rs. 100/- as the application fee for RET on SBI Collect (Educational Institutions>Calcutta University>Payment Category>Payment for Miscellaneous fees>Applications for Admission to PhD), on and before 23rd April, 2025.
