The last date for applying online admission form to the courses available at https://onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in has been extended upto 22/07/2025, so that, candidates whose Undergraduate result were declared on 15/07/2025 gets reasonable time to fill their Admission Form.

Important Instructions
  • Candidates are advised to visit the website http://onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in and https://ugadmissions.puchd.ac.in for admission related Notices, Updates and various websites for admission purposes.
  • Candidates seeking admission to select courses offered by Teaching Departments and Regional Centres of Panjab University shall fill online Admission Form, complete in all respects on or before the prescribed last date of submission of Admission Form.
  • Candidates are advised to apply for admission irrespective of the fact whether the result of the lower examination or Entrance Test has been declared or not. A candidate who does not apply till the last date, he/she will not be considered for the admission. However, a candidate whose result of the lower examination or Entrance Test has not been declared till the last date of submission of admission Form and who applies for admission will be allowed to participate in the admission process after declaration of result.
  • Prescribed Fees, Funds and charges shall be payable by the candidates.
  • The candidates applying under PWD Category are required to submit the PWD certificates within the three years of issue.
  • Once a candidate has been admitted to a course, his/her certificates / testimonials will be kept by the Department for registration / verification purposes. However, on written request of the candidate, certificates/testimonial can be given back to the candidate for a reasonable period.
  • Candidates seeking refund of admission fee and other charges will have to follow General Refund of Fee Rules provided in the Handbook of Information in Part-C.
  • Students are expected to regularly attend classes / tutorials / practical's/field work etc. Rules regarding Condonation of Shortage of Lectures are listed in Handbook of Information in Part-C.
  • The confidential result of the examination shall be accepted for the purposes of admission.
  • A printed copy of the result download from official website of University/Board/Institute shall be considered only if it is duly verified by the competent authority of the institute/college/university last attended. However, the candidate will have to produce original DMC / Degree within 15 days from the date of admission.
  • The admission of the candidate will be cancelled and legal action will be taken if there is any concealment / misrepresentation of information in Admission Form or in the attached certificates / undertakings / documents etc.
  • Admission to all the courses is governed by the Rules and Regulations for admission as approved by the relevant bodies of the university from time to time.
  • The University vide Syndicate Paragraph 4 has approved Panjab University Guidelines (prepared on the basis of UGC Guidelines) for pursuing two academic programmes simultaneously, under NEP 2020.   • Vacant seats in SC, ST, BC, Defence, Terrorist/Riots Victim, Freedom Fighter, Sports and PwD categories will be converted to General category (to be notified later on), subject to the condition that the waiting list of each Reserved Category has been exhausted.
  • Admission of all such students who fail to attend at least 33% of the total lectures/tutorials/practical's etc. delivered/held in each paper during the first ten working days from the start of teaching work shall be cancelled by the Board of Control/Joint Admission Cell.
  • In case there are vacant seats, the same can be filled on the basis of CUET Score.
  • Each candidate applying for admission under Reserved category of Sports will take a print out of the online Admission Form and submit self-attested photocopies of the relevant certificates and undertakings as per 'Guidelines for Admission to the Reserved Category of Sports' to the office of the Campus Sports, (Gymnasium Building, Jawaharlal Nehru Complex), PU Chandigarh on or before the last date of submission of Admission Form. If the candidate fails to submit the Form complete in all respect in the office of the Campus Sports, his/her candidature under Sports Category will be rejected.

  Candidate intending to apply for more than 8 courses is required to submit yet another Admission Form with the above mentioned additional fee per additional course
  *50% concession to SC/ST/PWD candidate in Application Fee

Steps to Follow
  • Check for all Important Dates
  • Register Online. [last date for registration: July 22, 2025]
  • Click Login and enter your Login Id and Password
  • Click on Add application form
  • Click on Edit
  • Enter Personal Information i.e. Candidate name, Father, Mother name, Date of Birth and other relevant details
  • Enter Academic Qualification details i.e. Roll no., Passing Year and Percentage/Marks etc. for each qualification from class 10 onwards
  • Select Category (only if other than General category) (only if applicable)
  • Select Weightage e.g. NCC/NSS/Youth Welfare/Skill etc. (only if applicable)
  • Select Courses you want to apply
  • Upload scanned photograph, signature and all the documents corresponding to Qualification, Category (as prompted)
  • After checking all the details carefully, Confirm your form. Before confirming the form, please check all the details as you will not be able to edit/change the form once it is confirmed. [last date for completion of form: July 22, 2025]
  • Deposit fee through Online mode only. [last date for paying fee (online): July 22, 2025]
Note:
  • Candidate cannot edit/change the form once it is confirmed, also any type of editing/updation in admission form is not allowed once it is confirmed/locked.
  • Only those Candidates who are seeking admission under the Sports Category, shall require to submit the hard copy of the Admission Form along with certificate/documents, in the office of Campus Sports (Gymnasium Building, Jawaharlal Nehru Complex), P.U. Chandigarh on or before the last date for submission of Admission Form.

Online Admission website Fee [Non-Refundable/ Non-Transferable]:
  • For Admission to 1 Course, Rs. 300/- will be charged
  • For Admission to 2 Courses, Rs. 400/- will be charged
  • For Admission to 3 Courses, Rs. 500/- will be charged
  • For Admission to 4 Courses, Rs. 600/- will be charged
Candidate(s) intending to apply for more than FOUR (04) Courses is/are required to submit an additional fee of Rs. 300/-
  • For Admission to 5 Course, Rs. 900/- will be charged
  • For Admission to 6 Courses, Rs. 1000/- will be charged
  • For Admission to 7 Courses, Rs. 1100/- will be charged
  • For Admission to 8 Courses, Rs. 1200/- will be charged
50% concession to SC/ST/PwD candidates in Application Fee.

Note: To avoid any kind of inconvenience or last minute rush or system congestion or unforeseen difficulties, candidates are advised to submit on-line admission form without waiting for the last date/time. Panjab University shall not be responsible if candidate are not able to fill their Admission form because of the last-minute rush.
