The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the results of the matriculate (class 10) compartment exam results 2016 on the official website.

All the candidates can check their results on the website, biharboard.ac.in.

How to check the results?

In order to check the same, candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Log on to the official website, biharboard.ac.in
• Click on the link saying "Matric Compartmental Result"
• Click on either "Link-I" or "Link-II"
• Enter all the required details such as Roll Code and Roll Number (on clicking "Link-I") or Roll Code, Roll Number or Name (on clicking "Link-II")
• Click to "Get Result" or "Find Result" button
• Download the same
• Take a print for future reference.

As per reports, merely 40.43 per cent students of class 12 have cleared the exam in their second attempt.

Meanwhile, the board has been sending the original as well as provisional mark-sheets to candidates, who have provided their Aadhar numbers. "This (Aadhar numbers) will help the board create a permanent database of candidates, who will automatically avail e-lockers facilities," spokesperson added.

Further, there has been a dip from 69.54 per cent last year to 27.59 per cent.

About Board

The Bihar School Examination Board is established for holding and conducting an examination at the end of the Secondary School stage, for prescribing course of studies for such examination and for carrying out such other objects and duties as may be considered necessary for the purpose as stated in the Act, Rules and Regulations of the Board.

Normally every year the Bihar School Examination Board conducts Annual Secondary School Examination in the month of February/March and Supplementary School Examination in the month of August/September on the basis of course/syllabus as prescribed by the state Government.

Apart from the aforesaid Secondary School Examination, the Board also conducts departmental examinations (not on yearly basis) such as Diploma in Physical Education, Certificate in Physical Education and Teachers Training Examination on such terms and condition as laid down by the State Government.
