The West Bengal Board has officially announced the declaration of Class 10 exam results. As of May 02, 2024, at 9:45 AM, students can now access their results.
This year, a remarkable total of 765,252 candidates have emerged successful in the examination.
In the Madhyamik examination of 2024, 57 individuals have clinched positions within the top ten ranks, as confirmed by Ramanuja Gangopadhyay, the President of the Secondary School Council. The distribution across various districts is as follows: 8 from South 24 Parganas, 7 from South Dinajpur, 7 from East Burdwan, 7 from East Medinipur, 4 from Bankura, 3 from Birbhum, 2 from North 24 Parganas, 4 from Malda, 4 from West Medinipur, 2 from Cooch Behar, 2 from Hooghly, 2 from Nadia, and 1 each from Howrah, Jhargram, Kolkata, Purulia, and North Dinajpur.
A total of 118,411 individuals have achieved marks exceeding 60 percent in the exam. Among them, 9,961 have attained Grade AA, while 24,643 have received Grade A+. The majority, comprising 83,807 candidates, have been awarded Grade A.
Chandrachud Sen, a student from Ramghola High School in Cooch Behar, has secured the top position in the 2024 Madhyamik board exam with a total score of 693 out of 700, equating to an impressive 99 percent overall marks.
Salyapriya Gurung, representing Purulia Zilla High School and hailing from Purulia, has secured the second position with a remarkable score of 692 marks.
Three individuals have secured the third position. Udayan Prasad, a student of Balurghat High School in South Dinajpur, Puspita Basuri from New Integrated Govt School in Birbhum, and Nairit Pal from Narendrapur Ramakrishna School in South 24 Parganas. All three have obtained a score of 691.
