The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the results of the UGC NET examination soon on the official website, the link for which is http://cbsenet.nic.in/

However, no official word has been conveyed on the same and this page will be updated in real time with further updates on CBSE NET Result 2016.

The CBSE UGC NET July 2016 was conducted on July 10 and August 28 at various test centres across the nation.

As per reports, over 6 lakh candidates appeared for the examination.

How to check the results:

In order to check the results, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Log on to the official website
• Click on relevant link
• Enter all the required details in prescribed format in the space provided
• Click to Submit
• Results will be appear
• All the candidates are advised to take a printout of the same for future reference

Meanwhile, the board has released the answer keys of the same in September and objections raised by the candidates were also recorded.

Furthermore, the board would use these objections for preparing the final results.

UGC NET exam is administered twice a year for determining the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship or both.

Important note:

• As per reports, two separate merit lists will be prepared: subject-wise and category-wise, using the aggregate marks of all three papers.
• In Paper 1 and 2, all the candidates are required to score a minimum of 40 per cent
• In Paper 3, applicants need to get a minimum of 50 per cent.
