Sambalpur University, Odisha has released the results of the plus-three first university exams 2016 on the official website.

The examination was conducted for arts, science and commerce streams.

How to check the results?

In order to check the same, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Log on to the official website
• Click on relevant link
• Go to the "Global Recent Results" section and click on the "more" link
• Then, search for the link "+3 First university Examination Result 2016 (Arts, Science, Commerce)"
• Click on this link
• Enter all the required details such as your Roll Number or your Name
• Click on the "Find Results" button
• Results will be displayed

Download and take printout of the same for future reference

About the university:

The Sambalpur University Act was passed by the Odisha Legislature on December 10, 1966 to fulfill long cherished dream of the people of Western Odisha for establishment of a university. The varsity officially started functioning from January 1, 1967. Its inaugural ceremony was held on January 4 of the same year.

It was in 1973 that the varsity was shifted from a temporary campus to its current, permanent campus at Jyoti Vihar, Burla. Its first vice-chancellor was Professor Parsuram Mishra.
