The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2016 admit cards on its official website, www.sscnr.net.in

As per reports, the commission will be conducting the examination from January 7 to February 5, 2017.

How to download?

In order to download the same, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Log on to the official website, sscnr.net.in
• Enter the Registration Number and Dte of Birth
• If any candidate does not have the Registration Id, enter your Name and Date of Birth
• Click to Submit
• Admit cards will be displayed

All the candidates are advised to take printout out of the same for future reference

Eligibility criteria:

All the candidates interested in applying need to be intermediate (class 12) pass from a recognised state board/university.

All candidates who are called for appearing at the Typing Test/Skill Test will be required to produce the relevant certificate in original such as mark sheets, provisional certificate, etc as a proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before January 1, 2017.

According to reports, last year the examination was conducted on November 1 and 15, and December 6 and 22.

Over 20 lakh candidates appeared for the examination held at various centres across the nation.

Salary structure:

• Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant PB -1(Rs. 5200-20200) Grade Pay 2400 (pre-revised)
• Data Entry Operator: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 2400 (pre-revised)
• Data Entry Operator: Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (pre-revised)
• Lower Division Clerk: Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (pre-revised)
• Court Clerk: Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900 (pre-revised)

Important dates:

Date of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I): January 7 to February, 5 2017

Date of Tier-II (Descriptive Paper): April 9, 2017
