The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) examination 2016 final answer keys on the official website, the link for which is http://upbasiceduboard.gov.in/

How to check the answer keys:

In order to check the same, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Log on to the official website of the board, www.upbasiceduboard.gov.in
• Click on the link saying 'Click here for U.P.T.E.T. 2016 online application'
• Answer keys will be displayed
• Download the PDF to your computer and save a copy
• Candidates are advised to take a print out of the same for future reference

The board conducted the examination on December 19 in two shifts.

Examination schedule:

• Candidates applying for post of class 6 to class 8 teachers gave examination in the first shift (10 am to 12:30 pm)
• Candidates applying for the post of class 1 to class 5 teachers appeared in the second shift (2:30 pm to 5 pm).

The examination is conducted in the state as per the NCTE guidelines to determine the eligibility of a person to be appointed as a teacher.

Also, for this particular examination, the board was prospected to receive applications from around 9-10 lakh candidates.

About UPTET:

Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from classes 1 to 8. Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for classes 1 to 5, while Paper 2 is for those opting for classes 6 to 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. This year Uttar Pradesh Board released the notification for the TET 2016.
