Admission Notice

Applications for admission to the First Year Degree Class in the Science Stream are invited from MALE candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary / Equivalent Examination in the year 2015 as REGULAR CANDIDATES.

Application Form will be available online (www.rkmvccrahara.org) from 01.06.2015 to 15.06.2015 on payment of Rs. 150/- online or payment of Rs. 150/- + Rs. 60/- extra for Bank Charges through any SBI Branch for further processing.

A candidate must apply separately for each subject as per the eligibility criterion given below :

Eligibility to Apply

General Requirements :

• Must have passed H.S. / Eqv. Examination in 2015
• Passed in four recognised subjects including English
• Must have passed in each subject of the combination of subjects chosen by him for the degree course of study.

OBC-A & OBC-B Candidates : (Minimum marks required to apply)

• For Pure-Pass Course = Passed in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  For All Honours Courses = 40% marks in concerned subject

Out of SIX combinations available, a candidate may apply in each course separately provided he is eligible to apply for those courses. No change in preference for selection of a course will be allowed later on.

Admission Fee :

• General Course : Rs. 5440/-
• Honours Courses : Rs. 6100/-

Other Matter :

• Application Forms with incorrect data will not be considered for Admission.
• There is no Hostel facility. Candidates requiring accommodation may contact the Ramakrishna Mission Calcutta Student's Home, Belgharia.
• Provisionally selected candidates for counselling are asked to submit the print-out of the Online Application Form, proof of the payment of Rs. 150/- and other necessary documents during their counselling.

Tentative Date of publication of List of eligible candidates for COUNSELLING : 18.06.2015 at 1:00 P.M.

List of Eligible candidates for COUNSELLING :

• For each combination of subjects there will be a separate list.
• In each list the names of candidates eligible for counselling will be displayed alphabetically.
• The names arranged alphabetically in the list will not indicate Merit Position of any eligible candidate.
• Mere appearing of the name in the list does not guarantee the admission of the candidate.

The applicant accompanied with his father / legal gurdian should report for COUNSELLING punctually at the time and date as indicated in the list published on 18.06.2015.

Immediately after counselling, a list of provisionally selected candidates based on MERIT will be displayed on the Notice Board and the selected candidates should be ready to get themselves admitted by depositing fees, atc. at the college office failing which they may lose their candidature and the same will be filled-up from the next eligible candidates.
