Notice for Admission through
JEE Main 2016 and WBJEE (Engg.) 2016 Rank Holders 2016-2017

Admission to 4-yr B.Tech. / 5-yr Integrated M.Sc. in Computer Science / MCA courses for the JEE Main-2016 and WBJEE (Engg.)-2016 rank holders in the academic session 2016-2017

Few (19) seats in B.Tech. / Integrated M.Sc. in Computer Science / MCA courses (2 seats each in seven different disciplines from WBJEE and 1 seat each from JEE Main) are opened for the successful candidates of JEE Main 2016 and WBJEE (Engg.) 2016. Willing candidates are advised to apply (by post/in person) in prescribed format to the Chairman, AUAT with attested copies of their rank card and 12th Mark sheet on or before 13.07.2016. by 3:00 P.M. The format of application will be available in the University website www.aliah.ac.in from 28th June, 2016 The Applications should reach the following address -

Note : The application fee (Rs. 500/- for male and Rs. 300/- for female candidates) payable through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Aliah University payable at Kolkata.

Applications without Demand Draft will not be considered.

Candidates must have to fulfill the minimum academic eligibility criteria (60% inaverage of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Examination and 50% in grand total)for admission.

Maximum age limit is 22 years as on 01.07.2016.

Date of Publication of Merit List of such Candidates : 20.07.2016 (Wednesday)
Counselling-cum-Admission for those Candidates will be held on : 26.07.2016 (Tuesday) at 11:00 A.M.
