The results of MICA Admissions Test (MICAT) I (2017) have been released on its official website, the link for which is www.mica.ac.in.

As per reports, the examination was conducted on December 11 at various test centres.

MICAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be conducted twice for the selection of PGDM-C 2017-2019 batch. Better of the two MICAT scores will be considered.

It is a gateway for enrolling in MICA's flagship course Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C) which primarily focuses on strategic marketing and communications.

It was held for a duration of three hours. The exam paper consisted of two sections.

How to check the results:

In order to check the same, all the candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps:

• Log on to the official website, www.mica.ac.in
• Click on relevant link
• In the provided fields, enter your Login ID and Password
• Click on Login
• Results will be displayed
• Download the same and take a print out for future reference

Selection process:

The selection process consists of the following three steps:

Step I: CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT (2015 onwards). Each candidate has to take at least one of the three exams: CAT 2016, XAT 2017 and GMAT (2015 onwards)

Step II: MICA Admission Test (MICAT): All the candidates are assessed on MICAT which consists of 6 sections: Psychometric (P), Verbal ability (VA), Quantitative ability (QA), General awareness (GA) , Divergent-Convergent Reasoning (DCR) and Descriptive Test (DT).

Step III: All the candidates shortlisted after MICAT shall appear for both GE and PI.

Meanwhile, the results of MICAT II 2017 will be announced on February 20, 2017. Along with the names of the shortlisted candidates, MICA Ahmedabad will announce the venue and schedule of GE PI on February 23, 2017.

Important dates:

MICAT II registration will start from February 12.
