Eligibility & Admission
  • Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. in any branch of Life Science: Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Physiology, Botany, Zoology (from a recognized university).
  • Admission Process: Entrance Test (MCQ) + Interview
  • Total Seats: 8
  • Date of Admission Test: 20th July, 2025 (10:00 A.M.)
Application Procedure (Online)
  • Printing facility is required while filling up this online form.
  • Please read the instruction carefully before filling the Registration Form.
  • Application forms are available online only through the College website.
  • No printed forms will be issued by the College.
  • You need to upload the following documents while filling in the form:
    - Aadhaar Card (PDF format).
    - Date of Birth proof (PDF format).
    - Recent colour passport size photo (JPEG format).
    - Signature (JPEG format).
  • After online submission of the form, pay the fee online.
  • After successful payment download the Admit Card for Entrance Examination and take a printout.
  • Application Fees: Rs. 1,000/-

Curriculum Structure
Year 1: Academic Training
Semesters 1 & 2 (July-December, January-June)
  • Classes to be conducted at both SXC and TMC campuses every week.
  • SXC class hours: 10:10 A.M. to 04:00 P.M., three days a week, in a smart classroom.
  • TMC class hours: To be announced at the beginning of each semester.
  • Lab sessions to be held at the respective institutions based on the subject requirement.
  • Format: Hybrid (smart classrooms, lab-based, and hospital-integrated)
Year 2: Clinical Internship
Semester-3 (July-December)
  • Upon clearance of all papers of semesters 1 & 2, paid internship of approximately Rs. 10,000/- per month, at Tata Medical Center culminating in the submission of a project/dissertation.
  • Internship may require working during odd hours as per institutional requirements.
Credits and Evaluation
  • Total Credits: 40 (First Year) + 20 (Internship).
  • Arrear/Supplementary examinations will be conducted in the forthcoming appropriate end semester.
  • Internship program will commence only after successful completion of Semesters 1 and 2.
Registration Validity
  • Registration of candidates will be valid for two years, excluding the year of admission.
Certification & Evaluation
  • Total Credits: 60 (20 credits per Semester)
  • Marks: 10 theory/practical papers × 100 = 1000 marks
  • Passing: Minimum 40%
Evaluation:
  • Theory exams at SXC
  • Continuous lab assessments at SXC/TMC
  • Arrear/Supplementary examinations will be conducted in the forthcoming appropriate end semester
Certification:
  • Joint Diploma from St. Xavier’s College & Tata Medical Centre
  • Mark Sheets: Issued after Year 1 completion
