Admission to Certificate Course in Konkani Proficiency 2025-26

Applications are invited for admission to the Certificate Course in Konkani Proficiency to be offered at the Goa University for Academic Year 2025-26.

IMPORTANT DATES

Registration Date	5th June 2025 to 18th June 2025
Commencement of Offline Classes	23rd June 2025

Objectives of the course are as follows:

To impart basic and functional knowledge of spoken and written Konkani language
To impart basic knowledge of four skills of language viz. Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing
To inculcate love and affection towards Konkani Language among the Konkani/non-Konkani speakers.
To impart knowledge of Konkani Culture and History through Konkani language
To impart scientific education of Konkani Language.=

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for admission to the programme leading to the award of Certificate Course in a Konkani subject, the candidate must have passed minimum XII std. or equivalent examination from recognized Board or University, securing a minimum of 45% marks on aggregate or equivalent Grade or as specified for a specific course/programme.

Total Number of Seats Available: 25

Fees for the Programme: INR 9,255 approx
