Admission to 3-Year LL.B. (Honours) for the Academic Year 2025-26

Online applications are invited for admission to 3-Year LL.B. (H) (Semester system) for the Academic Year 2025-26 for Sarsuna Law College, Sarsuna, Kolkata (Private/self-financing Law college affiliated to Bankura University) on and from 25/06/2025.

  • The minimum eligibility:
    • Cut-off marks for GENERAL (UNRESERVED) Category: 45% marks in 3 years Graduation (Any Stream)
    • Cut-off marks for SC / ST Category: 40% marks in 3 years Graduation (Any Stream)
    • Cut-off marks for OBC Category: 42% marks in 3 years Graduation (Any Stream)
    • Age Limit: No restrictions on Upper Age Limit
  • Intake:
    The total intake for 3-year LL.B. (H) is 180+18 (for Economically Weaker Section) = 198.
    Regarding the Management Quota (MQ) the existing policy of the Bankura University for 3-Year LL.B.(H) i.e., 10% of 180 seats which is 18 seats should be maintained for this year also.

Important Instruction
  • After Completion of Application in the Online Portal the Merit List will be published. This Merit List will contain the names of all the eligible candidates on the basis of the marks obtained in Graduation Level (For Honours candidate, only Honours percentage of marks will be considered). For calculation of percentage of marks in case of equal marks in Graduation result, total marks/percentage of marks of immediately preceding examination is to be taken into account for ranking, in that case best five (5) of the 10+2 or equivalent examination subjects must be adopted for calculating the total marks and percentage. In case wherever only Four (4) subject are offered by any recognized Board/Council etc, as the case may be in H.S or equivalent examination, first Language will be doubled to prepare the merit list on the basis of best five of 10+2 or equivalent examination subjects as stated earlier.
  • The entire admission process should be made online.
  • Documents to be uploaded by the students while filling up the online application:
    a. Admit card and Mark-sheet of Madhyamik Examination.
    b. Mark-sheet of Higher Secondary Examination.
    c. Mark-sheet of Graduation
    d. Caste Certificate (where necessary).
    e. PH Certificate (where necessary).
    f. Economically Weaker Section (EWS) (where necessary).
  • After publication of Merit List if any discrepancies / anomalies / flaws found by the candidates, they may contact the helpline or helpdesk through mobile / e-mail etc. for rectification of error but it should be done within the due date as provided under the lists of important dates.
  • Candidates can take admission by payment of required fees as mentioned in Information Booklet.
  • The candidates who will not take the admission as per the admission list published by this University, their candidature will not be considered for any further admission process.
  • If required, subsequent admission list will be published after the publication of first admission list.

  • Candidates are required to go through the Information Booklet carefully before attempting for online application.
  • Once an application is received, it will be construed that the candidate agrees to all terms & conditions, rules & regulations stipulated in the Information Bulletin and notices published by the Bankura University for the said purpose.
  • Ensure that you are filling genuine application form available on line at www.bankurauniv.ac.in.
  • Please provide the current mobile no. and e-mail id so that future communication will be sent to the registered mobile no. and e-mail id.
  • All the information must match exactly with the school admit cards, mark sheets, certificates, photo identity cards, caste/category certificates etc.
  • Do not attempt to make any duplicate application.
  • Upload scanned copy of photograph, signature as per the instructions provided in theonline form.
  • In case of any discrepancy the decision of the appropriate authority of the university shall be final.
