3-Year LL.B Provisional Merit List 2025 – Important Instructions & Rank Details

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES:

The Provisional Broad Merit (Rank) List for 3 Year LL.B. (H) course of studies for the Session: 2025- 2027 (BCI Session: 2024-2025) under the Faculty Council of Arts etc. is published for information of all the concerned candidates, which is a system generated list
The Provisional Broad Merit (Rank) List for the program is published based on Marks obtained in Written Test (BUCLAT-2025).
Name of the candidates and other data, as submitted by them, have been extracted from the online submissions for preparation of the Provisional Broad Merit (Rank) list without any verification of original Documents. In case of any incorrect input, the candidature of the candidate will stand cancelled.
Detailed Counseling Notice along with the Counselling Schedule for Provisional Admission to the Course will be published shortly based on the prescribed eligibility criteria and seat matrix in the relevant course
All admissions, including the Broad Merit (Rank) List, are provisional and only after verification of the data / documents of the candidates will the admission be confirmed.
The University reserves the right to rectify the list in case any error is detected arising out of technical reasons.
The University reserves all the rights to include any deserving candidate, if it is found that due to mistake on the part of the University, the name of such candidate has not been enlisted.
The University reserves all the rights to drop or exclude any candidate or cancel the candidature of the candidate at any stage of admission, if it is found that the candidate has entered any fraudulent / incorrect data at the time of submission of online application form for admission to 3 Year LL.B. (H) course of studies for the Session: 2025-2027 (BCI Session: 2024-2025) under the Faculty Council (Arts etc.), B.U.
In case of any issue / problem regarding payment/ confirmation of admission status, candidates should contact immediately and definitely before the expiry of the stipulated period (email: secretary_arts@buruniv.ac.in or Call / WhatsApp to 9475509303). No communication in this regard will be entertained after the expiry of the period. University will not take the responsibility of any payment failure caused due to network / technical problems.
In Case of same marks secured by two or more Candidates in the Entrance Examination (BUCLAT2025), the following Tie Breaking Rules have been made effective in determining the Merit (Rank) position of such candidates:
Step-I: Percentage marks obtained at the Undergraduate Examination shall be compared.
Step-II: If the Percentage marks obtained at the Undergraduate Examination are same then the Percentage marks obtained at the 10+2 or equivalent Examination shall be compared.
Step-III: If the Percentage marks obtained at the 10+2 or equivalent Examination are same then the Percentage marks obtained at the 10th Standard or equivalent Examination shall be compared.
Step-IV: If the Percentage marks obtained at the 10th Standard or equivalent Examination are same then the candidates will be ranked in the alphabetical order of their Surnames.
