Instructions to the Candidates for Submission of Online Application Form

For Admission in the University of Calcutta:

1. Candidates interested in submitting an online application should check the notification on the admission portal: www.caluniv.ac.in / www.caluniv-ucsta.net. If eligible, enroll first and fill up the application form through the link provided on the portal.
2. Soft copy of recent passport size (3.5cm x 3.5cm) color photo (.jpg/.jpeg format, less than 20KB) is required.
3. Scanned copy of signature (.jpg/.jpeg format, less than 20KB) is needed.
4. Email ID should be less than 30 characters. Password must contain at least one capital letter, one number, one lowercase letter, and one special character.
5. Scanned copies of all mark sheets from 10th standard onwards (.jpg/.jpeg, max 200KB each).
6. Scanned copy of age proof document (.jpg/.jpeg, max 200KB).
7. Scanned copy of valid SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS certificate (if applicable) (.jpg/.jpeg, max 200KB).
8. Scanned copy of domicile certificate (if applicable) (.jpg/.jpeg, max 200KB).
9. Create APAAR ID / ABC ID (refer to instructions on how to create this).
10. After submitting the application form, download and print the filled-in application and verify all information.
11. Pay the application fee online through the admission portal and take a printout of the e-receipt.
12. Sign all pages of the application form and all documents; keep them safely for future use.
13. Submit the printed application form and documents to the University of Calcutta admission office (details to be notified separately).
14. No individual communication will be sent. Candidates must check the university website or admission portal regularly for updates.
