PROVISIONAL MERIT LIST

The following is the Provisional Integrated Merit/Rank List of students who have opted for pursuing the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Legislative Law [B.A., LL.B./B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)] programme of study for the session 2025-26 at the University Law College, Gauhati University. Candidates are directed to bring all the necessary documents including certificates in original which will be verified by University Law College, G.U. at the time of admission.

> However, for Other Category Quota like under Differently Abled, Son/Daughter of permanent in-service Employees of Gauhati University, Son/Daughter of Ex-Employees of Gauhati University, Son/Daughter of Ex-Defence Personnel, Fringe Village, NCC, NSS, Extra-curricular & Co-curricular Activities, etc. students who are provisionally selected under them, their admission is subject to physical verification of documents at the time of admission.

Seat Matrix

* As per the letter from the director of Higher Education, Govt. of Assam (Ref no. DHE/EG/Misc/79/2023/24 dated 20-07-2023), the reservation of seats for OBC/MOBC community is being enhanced from existing 15% to 27% and this reservation is applicable for the non-creamy layer candidates of OBC/MOBC community only. In addition, the reservation of seats for candidates belonging to Ahom, Chutia, Moran, Matak, Koch Rajbongshi and Tea Tribe community will be within 27% of OBC/MOBC reservation.

** Seats reserved under EWS quota are Supernumerary as per relevant permission from BCI.

Anti-Ragging Declaration: Prospective candidates are directed to attend the University Law College, Gauhati University with their original testimonials along with the ANTI-RAGGING undertakings as instructed in the http://www.antiragging.in on the date and time mentioned above, failing which their seats may be forfeited.

Admission Fee Amount: Rs. 21,820/-

Admission fee payment instructions: The link for the online payment of the admission fee will be provided to the selected candidates immediately following the confirmation of their admission to the programme via the Samarth portal only.

The Principal, University Law College, GU is requested to make special arrangements for the verification of all original documents at the time of admission.

NB:

1. This list is for immediate reference only. In case of any mistake that might have crept into it, the University reserves the right to modify or cancel this list as and when necessary if required.
2. Merely appearing in the Entrance Test does not confer any right to the candidate for admission to the programme.
3. Candidates are required to bring the following on the date of admission:
   • a) Hard Copy of Online Admission Application form.
   • b) Originals of all the required certificates and mark sheets
   • c) Self-attested photostat copies of all the required certificates and mark sheets.
