Admission to Evening Language Courses (Certificate) 2026-27

Applications are invited from Indian nationals for admission to the following certificate courses in Asian and European languages. These courses are of one-year duration and will commence in February 2026, with the final examination to be held during the third week of January 2027. Classes for the language courses will be held twice a week the evening between 05:00 P.M. and 08:00 P.M. Classes for the One-Year Certificate Course in Introduction to Linguistics will be held thrice in the evening.

Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary Examination (Class XII), (10+2] or equivalent.

Interested candidates are requested to submit their online application using the following link along with the application fees. The application fee for each of these courses is Rs. 100/-.

- The admission portal will open on 5th December, 2025 and remain open till 31st December, 2025.
- A list of selected Indian candidates for the certificate courses will be posted on the University Website on 8th January, 2026.
- The Selected candidates need to pay the admission fees from 8th-11th January, 2026 on the same portal.
- Wait-listed candidates (if any) can pay the admission fees on 12th & 13th January, 2026.

Dates for admission to Diploma¹ and Advanced Diploma courses will be notified separately.
¹ For the consideration of admission to Diploma courses, a certificate or equivalent in the same language is necessary, For Advanced Diploma, the candidate must have passed the diploma level in the givea language.
