MBA Entrance Examination Notice 2025

All the students who have applied for admission to two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) course of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University, Ranchi through Chancellor Portal for the Academic Session: 2025–2027 are hereby informed that:

i) An Entrance Examination for admission to MBA program (Session: 2025-2027) will be held on 14.09.2025 (Venue: New Academic Building) for those students who have not appeared for any of the CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/AIMA/ATMA and CUET (PG) Examinations.

ii) All the applicants who possess document for any of the CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/ AIMA/ATMA and CUET (PG) have to report at 9 A.M. in the School of SMS, DSPMU on 14.9.2025 for verification of their documents.

iii) If any student who has appeared for the above-mentioned examinations [CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/ AIMA/ATMA and CUET (PG)] and wishes to improve his/her score, he/she will be allowed to appear for the DSPMU Entrance Examination to be held on 14.9.2025.

All the students who have applied through Chancellor Portal will appear for Group Discussion/Personal Interview (GD/PI) which will be held on 14.09.2025 (Venue: New Academic Building; 11:30 A.M. onwards). At the time of Group Discussion/Personal Interview (GD/PI), they have to carry the following documents:

Original and two sets photocopy of all academic documents (Certificates and marksheets of Class-X, XII and Graduation)
Original and a photocopy of the scorecard of CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/ AIMA/ATMA (if applicable)
Duration of Entrance Examination: 60 minutes (1 hour), Mode of Examination: Online (Computer Based Test), Number of Questions: 50, Maximum Marks for Entrance Examination: 75, GD/PI: 25 Marks (GD: 10 Marks + PI: 15 Marks).

The final merit list will be compiled taking into consideration the score of entrance examination + score of GD/PI or score of CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/ AIMA/ATMA + score of GD/PI
